Sorry to be pedantic void but you said "doing New York and then upto Canada is on my bucket list". Does that mean you haven't been to Canada yet or you have without going to there first? Just wondered if you had seen the signs driving through all the provinces or on google maps street view Also it seems a bit narrow minded complaining whilst living in a part of the U.K who's road signs are in one language only and around 50 miles away in another part of the U.K its the law that road signs have to be in two. What a strange question Cliff, but I'll answer as best I can for you. 1. No, I haven't visited Canada as yet, hence my putting visiting there on my bucket list, but there are these wonderful devices available we call televisions and computers where you can watch things called documentaries and also movies. Some of these are based in Canada. I wasn't aware you had to have visited Canada to know most provinces are billingual, it's just called knowing a lot of random shit about the world and doing pub quizzes. (I do like looking at places I've visited on Google Earth and maps though). 2. Not sure what you're getting at there matey. I'm well-aware Wales, Scotland and now Cornwall have billingual signs, in fact reading Welsh roadsigns sometimes helps pass by a dull journey in that part of the world. My point was that every province in Canada has a billingual policy apart from the French seperatist region of Quebec, which I just assumed you didn't need to be a sub-editor at Lonely Planet to know. I can confirm that the French speaking "republic" of Quebec is a breed apart both in culture and animosity to anything English . I have witnessed such hatred and separatist ideology both in Canada and abroad . In short ...the French speakers (Quebec) have what I can only describe as pure hatred towards the rest of Canada and propagate the message at every opportunity . It's something to behold ....pensioners fighting in the street . Unbelievable ...!

I think I may have unwittingly unearthed another myth about the scaremongering tactics employed by the "in" brigade , but in fairness I'll await his reply .
He's obviously more aware than most of the energy shortfall currently predicted , but as we all know only too well where there's a shortfall or loophole in energy production , then there's always someone keen to exploit the opportunity .
Sadly , it is rare for such scare mongerers to back up their warnings with cold facts and figures ....more a case of smoke and mirrors .
I'm not saying that this is the case here , but I doubt anyone can look years ahead and predict the future with any accuracy or definitive answer .
Hopefully we can all benefit from Northwichs reply one way or another ....

Solar panels are great, till you need your roof repairing then it'll cost a fortune to take them down while you repair it. I know ....but I was referring to the new solar panel farms like you get in Spain ....

Excellent answer . Now then ....What about YOUR friends and family ? My eldest lad is a tree hugging leftie pacifist and an inner, not sure about the younger two, the wife is more confused than normal I am a member of the Major Energy Users Council, we will be fooked for electricity in a few years time without the existing and proposed new continental link power cables, being out of Europe could mean we would be held to ransom with higher prices. Thats interesting ....but does your assertion take into account the massive rise in wind turbines and solar panels that are being constructed by landowners the length and breadth of the country . I've noticed many new ones along the A50 and in East Anglia along with the south and south west . ?

There seems to be an endless supply of sex offenders in this area , but rather than name them or their nationality I would prefer posters to use their imagination before they open the link . Their nationality actually doesn't matter. They should have been locked up long ago. Their nationality only matters to the PC of this world, who are desperately afraid to be seen as racist. Their nationality does matter . This precise point needs to be made . It's not my opinion , it's the opinion of several agencies and two different Police forces . It's has been stated quite clearly that there is an element of the Pakistani community who are / have deliberately targeted vulnerable Young British white females . These are racist attacks .

Or she loves him and is unable to turn off her emotions just like that? don't be daft....once you're with a celebrity you no longer have human emotions, you're just an emotionless gold digger and nothing more (apparently). drops him like a stone = moneygrabber who wants out because his career is over loves him so stands by him as they have a kid together = money grabber who is only with him because he's famous she can't win because the general public have already decided they know him, her and the ins and outs of their relationship and can therefore judge and pass comment. why the fuck anyone comments in the first place god only knows, she's done nothing wrong, she isn't on trial as far as i know. strange how no-one mentions his Dad just being a money grabber who wants to stick with him because of his money....the main difference between the dad and partner being that she has only even turned to court twice so far and hasn't attended the rest of the time whilst his Dad has been in every day...but that's not as "sexy" a story for the judgmental lot on here is it? If she had any 'human emotions' or better still sense and compassion for the victim , then she would have fucked him off when she first found out that he was a paedophile .

There is little more to say . Superstar footballer using his fame and fortune to exploit a young girl in the vain hope that he could get away with it . A career and life that is now in shreds . A wife or girlfriend that who has so far stood by him for reasons known only to herself or credit card and lifestyle . I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised that she will drop him faster than a gypos drawers when the gravy train dries up . in the meantime the lawyers in their smart suits will continue to milk the situation for all they can along with many legal representatives and organisations within the PFA and allied groups . Put more simply an industry within an industry and we the football fans are the ones paying for it . The beautiful game is no more . Or she loves him and is unable to turn off her emotions just like that? Of course ..........

I see see again this morning that Donald Trump continues to confound his critics both on here and across the world of political correctness as he easily takes victory in Nevada ....his third consecutive victory in a row . its a bitter pill for many to swallow and completely contradicts their rash assissination of his personality .....he was the most popular candidate by far and following on from that (using their logic ) all Americans are rich thick twisted racists . i think sometimes one has to look at how and where the British public forms its opinions on World news items rather than the headline grabbing events of the BBC . The way certain politicians in America are perceived over here is completely different to how the yanks view things and the fights are more dirty . Perhaps some of the long winded responses to this very point earlier on this thread (yesterday) only serve to reiterate and confirm how naive and delicate /sensitive the British public are compared to our North American counterparts . i have to be somewhat guarded in my observations however as the very same protestors might see me as some kind of Trump supporter which I'm clearly not . What I am Infact is someone who understand American politics and how the system works .

But arent meteors supposed to move across the night sky . This was stationary ....never moved and then lit up like a firework ...? True enough , the only other explanation I could give is that it was possibly a satellite catching the sun at a particular angle and then moving into the shade ? Yes ,....I thought that at first , but having witnessed satellites catch the Suns reflective rays at sunset this was more intense and bright ...a mystery .

Whilst out the other night I happened to look towards the south east ( Great Yarmouth ) and suddenly observed a very bright flash of light that I can only describe as a star "exploding" which lasted less than a second and then disappeared into total darkness . The bright light or star never moved and I wondered what was it likely to be ? The countryside around here has very little light pollution and provided an excellent view of the night sky . Can any astronomers offer their opinions ....It was like nothing I have ever seen before . Probably a meteor ....if the sky is that clear it could look that impressive . But arent meteors supposed to move across the night sky . This was stationary ....never moved and then lit up like a firework ...?

Yes...Infact Its a well known secret that Monica Lewinsky also considered that he possessed "decent bits " . The rest is history . Didn't she like to take the tip off his cigar with her teeth, very apt at the oral parts of the secretary position apparently. Just nipping out out for a minute ....I've googled her picture . He's bat-shit crazy. Racist, sexist bonehead. And hes far from the successful businessman he makes out. As for hilary, shes thoroughly uninspiring. Terrible speaker. Fingers crossed bernie comes good on super tuesday! :-) Good point! His wealth is inherited and, as was pointed out a while back, if he'd not gone into business and simply allowed the wealth to accumulate through interest he'd actually have more money than he currently does. Spent too much of his money being a self agrandising, self promoting celebrity whilst forgetting that Daddy was a much better businessman (although an equally disgusting person) than he will ever be Have have you got a link for this and secondly the population isn't voting on the merits of his business acumen or inherited wealth . He will be judged on what he has to say and what he intends to do about the current state of affairs . so far he has done surprising well ....wouldn't you agree ?

The polls I've seen show 55% in 45% out I'd wager the group more likely to change their mind would be the ins. It's going to be close Allow me to explain why I think your assertion is wide of the mark. 1 ..First off there are many who do not bother to vote because they feel disenfranchised with politics in general .."it won't change anything " 2 ...Secondly ....The group above to which I refer have the opportunity to directly affect the outcome and are not voting for any particular political group . 3 . Thirdly ....I think that there will be a huge turnout for the reasons given above and also for the novelty value alone ...a once in a lifetime opportunity to exert a sea change . 4...The poorest of the population more frequently quote immigrants stealing their jobs and are therefore more likely to vote out .

I'm sorry , but I need to correct my previous comment .
I mistakenly made the similarity between Donald Trump and Jeremy Corbyn which was wrong .
One Trump is popular and the other sits opposite Dave the rave at Parliamentary questions and has a long standing fondness for Diane Abbott...

Whether Trump is a racist lunatic or suffering from some kind of mental disorder or not ...it is easy to dismiss him . Every society needs a Donald Trump . He is challenging ...he is single minded and diversive . He smashes through barriers that others fear to touch on .
Let's not forget our "Trumps " over here .....Boris Johnson and Jeremy " I would use the Trident submarines as Taxis ...."
One last thing .....Have you ever considered how many millions of Americans actually agree with Donald Trump ....many very wealthy and very clever people . Are they all wrong ? Are they all mad ? Are they all racist ?
Have we become a society of politically correct panderers .....? Has the brainwashing education system of the last 35 years along with the BBC caused irreparable damage to the common sense gene .?
I don't espouse to his meanderings , but a great deal of his generalisations do have a great deal of truth in them ...just ask any teenager girl under the control of social services in places like Rotherham , Bradford , Greater Manchester .
There is after all " no smoke without fire "....

Yes ....I think you are right on balance . However I do feel that there has been a certain amount of naivity that the club in hindsight could have addressed better . It acted on the sworn comments of an 'innocent until proven guilty' liar . I imagine we'd have acted upon the words of his legal team as well as himself who would have (surely) convinced us there was a reasonable chance he wouldn't be found guilty. If the club have in fact purposely covered up here, I'd put out that I will boycott until the board are replaced (depending on who's responsible out of Short or Byrne) - but I can't see how this claim will be proved unless these are questioned. Yes ....I have little doubt that the legal team had a part to play and were equally wrong and naive in there judgement .

So your club believed a man who you have said yourself is almost certainly 95% a liar as well as a nonce is telling the truth, are you and your club in denial or just desperate enough to take this mans (in the loosest terms) word to save your sorry arses from relegation as I said before a club with no morals, should have been suspended with no pay as soon as the story broke local knowledge is normally pretty accurate. I think we should call it a day there, I think the club have been shafted by a liar & you think the club have no morals - neither of us are going to convince the other and we are both going to be repeating the same points. What I would say is he is a liar in hindsight (after he's entered a guilty plea) - prior to the case we'd have no reason to think he was a nonce. Yes ....I think you are right on balance . However I do feel that there has been a certain amount of naivity that the club in hindsight could have addressed better . It acted on the sworn comments of an 'innocent until proven guilty' liar .
