I believe Tuncay is the most exciting signing this club have made since the great Alan Hudson, the guy has tremendous skill and I am still pinching myself over this one. Well done Stoke, this signing shows real ambition.....

I could not be more excited if we signed Messi, SERIOUSLY!!!!!! TonybPulis is a genius, full stop. Let the love affair begin in the Potteries. Guess who is going on the back of my shirt? Tuncay is technically brilliant, yet plays for the team and wears his heart on his sleeve. He works his arse off and will fit in great! I love this signing!

Did Shilton come after Hudson? If so, he's the best signing since Shilton! Remember, Shilton's was a world record fee!

Best signing I've ever seen us make. Slightly pips Bjarni to the post... Nah seriously, this guy could be our new Stein. (Can't comment on Hudson).

Chamberlain was pretty good! Chaimbo was fuckin bloody fantastic. I'm putting my neck on the block now but I don't think we'll ever see a better wide man playing in a Stoke shirt.

Absolutely shit hot ....and I would say that Mark Stein was equally as good.I can't split them.... My personal favourite of all time was Jimmy Greenhoff.... He would walk into the current side...any side come to think of it. I also thought Alan Dodd was vastly under-rated too.

the only player we signed that actualy turned the club round was Sir Stan, but Hudson was exceptional with Greenhoff and big John Ritchie coming close, and not forgetting Steino too.

Well I have been following Stoke for 30 years and this to me is the best signing we have made. Stieno turned out to be our best signing but he came from nowhere. Tuncay is a superb footballer and IMOP would not look out of place in one of the top 4 Premiership teams and to be honest their fans would not grumble having him either. This is like a dream, I still cannot believe how far we have come in such a short space of time, the relegation with Man Shity has been well and truly put to bed. Peter Coates and Tony Pulis have saved this club, our club. We will never be the same again, (tear in eye) ;D ;D

Summed it up for me when a Liverpool supporting mate text with the news Huth and Tuncay were due to sign that he said he would not have minded his team signing either of these players.
£10 million + spent in 48 hours, thought I'd never live to see the day.

and that is why I just think our club is run really well all the way to the foundations.
Tuncay and Huth? I mean, Huth itself is a great signing and the only reason we are not talking about that as much is because Tuncay is a completely different class of player.
My Brother is a Liverpool fan and he too would be happy for both these players......I mean, WFT? it's just amazing!!!

I have this memory: you knew the name, you saw what he could do when he played for a visiting top side, and suddenly he's in a Stoke shirt. And the pace and skill, the shot on the turn, the defender left sprawling, just left you gobsmacked. An instant hero. A Stoke City legend.
Jimmy Greenhoff.

Both stunned and really excited by these 2 signings. Pulis, Coates and anyone else involved in getting these 2 in should indeed be proud! ;D

I was around when we signed Gordon Banks,Alan Hudson,Jimmy God Greenhoff, sick as a parrot when we sold big John Richie, elated when we brought him back,Tuncay signing for me has brought back all of those memories of those fantastic signing's,in my fifties and I could not sleep on Thursday waiting for the will he won't he sign! Not much sleep last night either as even now my expectancy level's have shot through the roof.Well done to Tony Pulis and Peter Coates you are doing exactly as you said you would when we reached the Prem to the letter, that was to consolidate and bring in better quality player's to progress and not to panic as seem's to be the case with lot's of poster's on here!!!!!

I work in Derby and am surrounded by Derby, forest, Leicester supporters, there are also a few Wolves, baggies and the usual accompaniment of glory hunters and everyone has said what a great signing it is.
Can't wait for the game today.

Up till today, it was Hoekstra, followed closely by Mark Crossley who did a great job for us.
This is a terrific coup for us and if Pulis can develop an attacking idea that doesn't involve the big boot and percentage football, then I'll be eating humble pie and enjoying the taste.
