You'll be fine. Just be careful when you come out of the stand afterwards.

Been taking my boy on and off since he was 3.
Now 7 and a season ticket holder for 2 seasons - never seen a sniff of trouble - you only usually find it if you look for it!

whats all this bollocks that comes out "ive read theres gona b trouble". whos your source, wherve u read it? of course u can take your youngest. its so easy to avoid trouble if it happens especially at the brit.
what do you think will happen to your youngest. hooligans will target him?

3k Newcastle, 25k Stoke. Hmmm, the odds don't look good!
Besides, they would have to fight past the South Stand first!
I sit in the Boothen End with my boy, tried the family stand, was wazz (admitedly against Plymouth in 2005 on a cold Feb Saturday with about 12k there!) - he only started to enjoy it once we sat where there was some atmosphere so took him to where my ST was in the Boothen B20!

You'll be fine pal, just keep your wits about you and don't go looking for it. I doubt they'd be so low as to kick off at a guy with young kids anyway.
There will probably be no more trouble than your usual drunken yelling anyway.

I wouldn't bother with the power league before hand though mate because i reckon there will be a few geordies drinking there most of the day, probably getting a bit 'braver' as the day goes on (if you know what i mean) i'd throw the harvester into that as well. Otherwise you should be ok. Delilahs is always a good place to go after game. Free to get in, and lets the traffic die down as well as letting the idiots get it out of their system . Take him down mate.

I guess at the end of the day, you're going to have to make that decision mate. Has he shown a tendency for violence in the past?

We havn't had that much trouble for a while now. The worst i can remember was the millwall game a while back but there hasnt been alot of serious stuff since the 80's. Your kid will be fine, especially sitting in the family stand.

Like Momo says, aslong as you don't have a teenage daughter with you then the Geordies won't target you for a glassing.
