I've calculated that if win all our remaining games, then we will stay up for sure.
A less optimistic forecast reveals that we end up with 42 points and 15th place. That'll do for me!

For what it's worth... chancebot.com/epl/Interesting that the chancebot program mentioned in the thread has WBA down at a 95% chance of relegation, Boro at about 71% and Newcastle at about 36% - as the 3 favourites. And it's got 39 down as the safety line at the moment. chancebot.com/epl/overview.php

I think we can get and may need 42 , real big games from now through to Arsenal, I think we need to be safe by then or they will send us down.

Its a very big if, but 'if' we win our next 3 games, it takes us to 38 points and that will be enough. Presuming Castle lose to Chelsea and Arsenal, then I can't see them overhauling a 9 point gap in the final six games. Somehow, though I think it will go to the wire.

According to Chancebot you will need 39 to stay up, but someone would go down on goal difference, we are forecast to get 40. If true still going to be very close. How many we need depends how many we take off Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Blackburn etc. Need wins not draws, then we don't need many from remaining games.
