Thats too big for them. It looks like a 40k stadium. The main stand would be too big for a few premier clubs. What do they average, about 15K? Sure in the prem, like us, they would have more fans, but you have to get there first.
Like I said, too big.

thinking of 40,000 to because it'd be cheaper than adding 10,000 more seats later in time! no chance!

There were rumours a few yeard ago that they would build a 40K capacity stadium for Bristol City, Bristol Rovers and the rugby side to share.

I like the way in which the corners are filled. Perhaps that is the way for us to join the main stand up to the rest of the ground (after we've been in the Prem a couple of years obviously).

Fantastic looking ground. But too big for them I think. The 'bowl' type stadium does look so much better. Here's hoping we can get a sustained period up at the top and get Boothen/JS filled in to create something similar.

When you say the stadium is too big for bristol i think you're forgetting the size of city and the potential there is massive.

It looks remarkably similar to the Brit in the first picture. It looks like it would hold at least 35 thousand though, which seems too big when they currently average about 16,000. Still, if they got to the Prem maybe they could go a long way to filling it.

'Massive potential' is the sort of phrase that over ambitious chairmen and marketting bods constantly wheel out to fool investors.
Bristol isn't big at all when you compare it to an entire region like Staffordshire and even when City are doing well in the Championship they only average roughly what we did.

Wow Mick! 4 minutes to get your cheap shot in! You're slipping!
Seriously though, I'll be amazed if it looks anything like that by the time it actually comes into being. I don't think they've even got as far as purchasing land yet & given the recent problems Rovers have had with financing, I wouldn't hold my breath!

30k is a similar capacity to the Brit - with mini corners. So the end we can see must be about the height of the Boothen and the three tiered stand is only a bit higher. So their three tiers will probably be the same height as our John Smiths but (unlike the John Smiths) they have their second tier of boxes two thirds of the way up the stand to split the stand into three tiers. So not so different in size to the Johns Smiths - just a different design.
