To get the 6 away points we’ll need to stay up this season? Not to mention the 12 home points.

I think the players have the ability. Whether Pulis has the ability to pick them in the right formation and position away from home is the problem.

So what’re we going to do play him on his own? Even with Beattie playing if Pulis uses him as a midfielder he’ll not be very effective.

To get the 6 away points we’ll need to stay up this season? Not to mention the 12 home points. I think we'll struggle for more than three or four points from our six remaining away-days. However 14 from 21 in our home games is not unduly optimistic.

pulis scares me with his team selections, and loosing ethers for 2 very winable home games is a major hurdle imo. i do think that 38 ish points could be enough though. baggies and boro are no better than us and blackburn appear to have the hardest run-in out of the bottom 4. still a big ask though

Has the FA or Premier League decreed we need 42 points to stay up? And are we automatically relegated if we fail to win away?

Long time no see spiderman, nice to see your outlook on life hasn't changed one bit ;D
I beleive our best chance of 3 points is Brazil, a point from Dull and maybe 3 considering their poor form, im sure Pulis' realises that its now or never and that points away frm home now HAVE to come, i think we can get 12+ points at home and hopefully teams like 'Castle will fall short of 40 points with their tough run in.

Its all so "up in the air" it isn't worth mithering about. If Blackburn, Brazil and Boro all go on bad runs it could be that just taking points off them will do. If they start winning then we will definately need an away win or 3 from somewhere. Lots of ifs. To say we definately need this amount of away wins and definately need that number of points is utter, scaremongering, bollox. Lets wait and see.

Yes
why ?
do you think he hasn't spiderman?
(There always seems to be a common theme in all your posts -i.e trying to berate or take a cheap shot at our manager, masked rather pathetically behind trying to start some kind of pseudo intellectual reasoned debate. Why don't you just come out and say you don't like him and have done with it rather than, subject us to this kind of repetitive and most tedious tripe ? )

To get the 6 away points we’ll need to stay up this season? Not to mention the 12 home points. He had the ability to get us to the Prem for the first time in our history and he has given us the platform from which we can stay up. Only the most bitter feckwit imaginable would dismiss his chances of succeding yet again

West Brom and Hull away are both winnable, I don't know why everybody is worrying because, bolton sunderland middlesbrough blackburn newcastle wigan etc etc were all winnable too, and for a number of reasons we managed to pick up just 2 points from that list. To answer the question I don't think we will get 6 points from our remaining away games, in fact I don't see us winning away from home, due to our total tactical ineptness, lack of discipline and lack of belief, The question is will we win enough at home?

Only the most bitter feckwit imaginable would dismiss his chances of succeding yet again with all due respect its a valid question, regardless of the underlying hatred we all know he holds towrds pulis. And does TP's abilty to get us here necasarily mean he has the ability to keep us here? No, but it does mean he should be shown greater respect, but similarly it doesn't make him untouchable.

NO he hasn't got a clue
and to think "because he got us here" he is certainly going to have the rest of this season, and if we get relegated possibly most next season as well, still setting a team up to not to actually win a game but trying to make sure we dont lose it. It makes me question some peoples perception of football
surely the aim is to beat the opposition on thier own turf as well

Yes I truly think so. Whether it happens is another issue, for example when players act stupid and get them selves sent off it's out of the hands of Pulis
