Wouldn't want Harewood now, a couple of decent full backs and centre midfielder and right mid, as it looks like TP isn't going to play Lennie

Very odd, seeing as though rumour was that a fee had been agreed.

I know I'm in a minority of one about being sceptical about Dindane, but do we really want to take a punt, even on loan, on a player who isn't fully fit when we need someone to make an impact straight away? Beattie, Fuller n Kitson to play while it takes a couple of weeks to get him gets upto speed

Centre Mids and Fullbacks surely our priorities. But wouldnt throw my toys out for Dindane on Loan. The N'Daw deal seems a possible.

EDIT: actually, was it Fulham, or Bolton? Or somebody else...? Anyway, a club was definitely named on there. I can't find the thread, now.

SSN said that it's believed to be Bolton, but could be exactly what we're looking for....

Gekas has signed for Pompey on loan. He was linked with us on here earlier in the week, but then again, who hasn't been?

2 in 2 out would do me. If we could a centre half ad a central midfielder I would be very happy. I would expect Sonko and Kits to go out probably on loan, and possibly something to happen with Tonge?

We need more full backs rather than centre backs IMO. If higgy went in to his natural position in the centre with Ad Faye, then nobody would get through. Just need a LB to replace him.
And yes a commanding central midfielder would be fantastic.

are we still in for tommy smith Some newspapers have suggested that we still in for Smith. Very strange signing if it happened, I cannot see how he would improve us?

Re Riggot
I like the player, he's a good centre back and is good cover for right back so from our point of view think he would be a great addition to the squad.
But from his point of view, he has finally got back a regular first team slot at boro so why come to Stoke and be a) back up centre half or b) first choice fullback out of position?
Surely Tone wouldn't just drop Ryan in favour of Riggot ? No doubt Tone would like to play him right back but would that appeal to Riggot?

First choice Rightback, he's from Derby so the move appeals

O'Neil would be a great signing.
Very good player who has that bit of quality on the ball we are missing.
He does seem a bit of a whinger though how he is almost demanding to go back to Pompey.
