When 'Arry Redknapp went to Spurs and got that amazing point against Arsenil and a couple of straight wins after..he was hailed as the Messiah of White Hart Lane...er...surely some mistake? The fact that Spurs are now back where they are when Ramos/Mol were managing the team suggests their problems go much deeper than players/managers can solve..without root and branch reform and a change of ownership.. Despite having one of the best teams in The Prem IMO and I do think they a team packed with quality..we should be looking at capitalising on their misfortune and going there to pick up all 3 points...

titanic, we have to be optimistic! good chance of winning - if we play like we did vs chelsea we WILL win! goarnnnn! I highly doubt we will. The performance at Chelsea was a good one in the context of the game we were playing - we were massive underdogs and the onus was on them to win the game. We managed to get on the scoresheet somewhat against the run of play, though in the end the sheer amount of attacks that Chelsea had meant they were pretty much certain to score at some point and their quality prevailed. If we play in the same manner at Spurs we'll lose. Spurs as a team lack heart and endeavour, though they are all decent with the ball at their feet and do have players at their disposable, who, if given the opportunity, can produce. We need to get into them and get at them, with us playing at a high intensity. Inviting them on would be the worst possible approach.

I personally can't see us winning any away games, apart from Hull and West Brom where we will have a genuine chance.
We need a 40 yarder to nestle in the back of the net or something when we play these sort of teams......!!
BUT, if they play Lil Luka, then i think it'll be as good as playing against 10 men, the guy will be crushed.

I was at WHL over 30 years ago when we won 2-0 I must be a lucky omen with a 100% success rate. Wasn't planning on going but if anyone wants to arrange a ticket for me to ensure that we get the win we so desperately need I will happily tag along. Please pm me with details of when/where I should collect my ticket. Hope that the Oatcake website has the facility to cope with all the additional traffic

I believe we can get something from this game. It was such a solid performance against Chelsea and Spurs have got one eye on Wembley. They wont want to get involved in a battle in case they get injured and miss the cup final. Anybody know what colours we are in, will it be the famous Red and white stripes or bright Yellow and blue? I hope its Red and White coz I just love it!

If Lawro predicts us a defeat on the BBC then we could win, if he predicts us a draw then we'll lose.
A positive prediction from that man is like a curse...

CANT BELIEVE THIS. The home match v man city is the important one,so dont draw both matches TP,win at least one. Forget that .... 2 WINS Please TP. I want to see us end this run of "tough games" with a winning streak. I remember at the start of the season many on here were saying we wouldn't get a single point from Christmas through Jan 31. While we already have one point, C'MON STOKE, Prove them wrong emphatically!

i predict 1500 stoke fans singing "ricardo fuller" once at around 75 minutes when he is brought on and once at about 83 minutes when he dinks one in i hope he comes on around 60-65 mins, i always think 15 mins isn't enough time for a player to make an impact. the one thing i am not looking forward to is hearing our team,as it tells us so much as to how we are going to defend

Another great pre-match preview- against Chelsea it was the Telegraph, now it is the Mail's turn. So, this is their headline: Fuller back from ban to boost PottersLet's have a look at the provisional squad then. There is no Fuller and a certain Dane has changed his name to Simonsen. It really is pathetic journalism. Provisional squad: Simonsen, Wilkinson, Shawcross, Abdoulaye Faye, Higginbotham, Griffin, Delap, Amdy Faye, Whelan, Etherington, Cresswell, Beattie, Simonsen, Pugh, Kitson, Olofinjana, Lawrence, Sonko, Tonge.www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1127903/Tottenham-v-STOKE-Fuller-ban-boost-Potters.html
