I'm afraid it's perfectly obvious that Tone is out of his depth. He's done a great job for us, but, now is the time to depart gracefully and let a new manager give us a proper footballing team that will come back to the Prem even stronger. Step forward Roberto Martinez. more like step forward God. God is the only prayer we've got of staying up

Think Wilko had an absolute stinker again. He is now becoming a bit of a liabilty. Tonight could signal the end of this seasons appearances for him especially if we get another right back in.

Maybe Cressie can watch and learn how to score a goal in the Prem, doubt it but at least we have Beattie to show him

Lethargic, one dimensional, tactically inept, can't pass wind, total bollocks.
And Riley didn't help too, useless cunter. Shambolic performance by the team and manager today. Fooking Cresswell! We've got Fuller, Lawrence and Kitson on the bench and he starts with fookin Cresswell-fuck me Tone why!
The half time sub was amusing too! 3-0 down and he brings on a right back and a centre back ;D Got a big laugh in the pub.
Positivies-Beatties goal and Fuller returning.

tottenham have only lost at home once since redknapp took over. pretty unlickly we would have won today. still we were very poor.
we should be looking to a top notch midfielder at any price and a right back. think the strikers we goit are good enough they just get no service other than twatted balls from our defenders. by then the opposition defenders are on their arse.

... could not sleep all night thinking about our dismal night at SPUDS...
tony has finally admitted that our away tactics may need to be altered.....
well done to tony for admitting that he has got it wrong when we play away from home...
i have got 100% faith in mr pulis and i think that we will soon start attacking the opposition
when we play away from the BEAR PIT.....and seeing some good results...
it takes a big man to admit that he has made a few mistakes...well done tony...proud of you..
i think that the only bright light last night was......BT..........
he and kitty cat kitson will go all out now and start to show us and everyone else in the
premiership the reason that tony pulis bought them.....
what a bloody night mare last night was.....best to forget about it and to learn from it.....

Wearing our relegation kit and playing Championship players (Cresswell, Wilkinson, Sonko, Griffin), we looked just that last night: a team with relegation back to the Championship written all over it. The first half was atrocious. The body language of our players said it all - they looked despondent as soon as the first goal went in.
BUT... all teams have bad days and we've been here before. And we've bounced back before. This is the most despondent I've felt this season about our chances of staying up, I have to admit, but our boys have surprised me in the past with their ability to come back fighting. Man City is now crucial to stop the rot.
May the Good Lord have mercy on the red and white stripes of Stoke-on-Trent
Amen

Haven't slashed my wrists yet but I'm desperately unhappy after last night. How the fuck can we be that good v Chelsea, piss off to Dubai then come back and start a CRUCIAL game like we're Crewe Reserves on an off night? Where's the basic competence, the standard we don't drop below? That's what you need to be a Prem side and we just don't have it and I wish I understood why. I'm not bleating Pulis Out because he's the man who put the Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool performances together - but why can't our defensive guru manager learn to shut up bloody shop, yet again WHY CAN'T WE DEFEND??
