They have an old fashioned manager. I fear Newcastle and us have the worst managers this this, they are not up to what it takes in todays PL.

To me it was a question, why Newcastle would be relegated. I say it's because of the manager, and our manager isn't much better. Good managers make their team play well and win. We have 8 games in a row without a win, we've scored 6 goals in the past 11 games. The reason is, 10 men behind the ball, Pulis football.

You can tell they are getting desperate as Kinnear is now blaming the previous two managers for a lack of squad depth and he doesn't know why they did this. Be interesting to see who they sign in this transfer window if anybody?

for, luke. i think we really need to go for it at home(probably everyone else does to) but we have to stop giving silly free kicks away(we're doing it every game). we also tend to give the ball away, far to easily for my liking. most of the other teams in the prem can pass and hold the ball for longer periods than us(this needs arresting). although we've brought two great signings in, we need more quality in midfield(maybe liam can solve that problem. also everyone knows we're lacking in the fullback department, so hopefully tony will arrest this problem as well.p.s i still am not a big dan of tony pulis' tactics either, big mistake again bringing dave kitson on, and not a covering midfield player.

Another 2-3 new players who can change our style can help.

Name me one other team in this league that would score many more than that with 2/3 first choice strikers out at the same time, whilst two of those games being against Liverpool and the Shit?

Yep 26 points from me as well, batter a few teams at home and maybe sneak a few points away, then next year we can improve the quality.
luke - it was not a question, it was a statement of fact

Well, I accept it's not a question, but I still stand by what I say.
By the way, I think we'll take 24 points.

The fact that, even though we've spent a fuckton of money, we're still relative minnows in this league and this season was always going to be a struggle plays a part too I'd imagine.

I ended up with 15! What a miserable bugger I am!
I really hope that we don't end up having to get three points at the Emirates in the final game of the season.

luke - if you think we will take another 24 point giving us a total of 45 in our first prem season, i'd call the manager of that team rather good, so stop being negative. Things were never going to be perfect this year, but holding liverpool, nearly getting something from the shit and beating the arse is pretty damn good from where i'm sitting. Give TP a break, he does pretty well with what he has and he is doing his best to improve the squad further
