Thursdays topic of discussion. Who in your opinion has the most affluent fans and why? Yes I did say affluent (I already know that Vale are the most Effluent!)
For some reason I think Reading and Chelsea but can't explain why other than the area they are in.

I'd say Arsenal. The ripple of applause that follows each goal is more prawn sandwich than elsewhere I'm told. Season ticket prices are crazy too. £1300 or something

Well according to Tony Scholes the average Stoke fan works in a professional capacity and earns £30k plus a year.
This came from some survey they did....
...I think the surveyor person was on copious amounts of heroin at the time!!

Bournemouth & Bristol Rovers...outside of London anyhow.
The Dorset coast and Bath are two areas with the highest property prices.
Least affluent would be Swansea, Cardiff, Stoke, Hull and Middlesborough at a guess.

Lots of cockney scrotes what support London teams, but also whole stands full (or tiers at least) of corporate ball lickers who are barely interested in the match.
I went to Stamford Bridge once, went for a slash mid way through second half and there were about 20 ppl watching the game in the stand on the telly! I asked one lad why he was there and he said it was too cold outside. What a dick...
