In these hard times do Stoke offer concessions for the unemployed, or even reduced season ticket prices for the job less? I'm sure back in the day they did.
If not, perhaps it should be considered.

They do not currently offer such a concession
It will not be long before talks are once again opened with the Fans Forum regarding season tickets for next seson so maybe this could be mentioned
With the current financial climate I think the prices will have to be carefully considered.
A balance of generating the same atmosphere we have come to know and love from us fans, but being reasonably priced to make a season ticket (which is a large commitment in terms of finance and time) an attractive prospect to spend money on, which may well be tight for most of us

Are we talking genuine unemployed who have just been made redundant and are doing their damn hardest to find work, or the lazy b*st*rds who have never done a days work in thier life and sponge every penny they have from the state, thus buying themselves the latest 78inch Samsung widescreen?

I can either go the match saturday or go out Friday night, If i go out can i get the club too pay the £10 short i am with my entrance money..
If we were in championship I think they would look at it but in the Prem no need to as we sell out every week.

I am unemployed at the moment but Gordon Brown gives me enough to pay £10 a week for my season ticket. ;D And no the wife and 4 kids don't go without either.
P.S. I am looking for work but a job that only pays 6-£7 an hour and I would be worse off.

Multi buy proves that the club and Scholes in particular treat the less well off who support the club with utter contempt. There is more chance of plaiting snot than Scholes re-introducing concessions for anyone who can't afford to get on the gravy train.

Did I say that? Just the dole dossers. "dole" as you describe has now been replaced by something called jobseekers allowance, £60 fuckin wanky quid a week to live on, aslong as you are seeking a job (as i am now after losing my job before christmas). therefore the dosser's arn't the one's on "the dole", the dosser's are the one's who refuse to work due to made up bad back's, arthritus blah blah fucking blah, who apart from the genuine case's rip the piss out of the system, and, would'nt like to say for certain, but i believe people on incapacity benift do get concessions on season tickets - so i've heard people bragging.

There is little incentive for those who haven't worked for a long time or don't want to work to start.
Sad to say a concessions price for the unemployed while being useful for those out of work, would just be another treat for the great unwashed and would be abused.
Hard to say but when I have no cash I have to cut back on things that aren't essential. Football maybe for some being that.
Sorry.

It wont be long before job seekers allowance/the dole is scraped, especially with this new schemet hat the government are introducing, or re-inventing where they give people lump somes to help them get back into work.start there own business.
But if you get rid of the dole, surely the crime rate would go up? These 'dole dossers' who don't got work, have no intention of working, will suddenly have no money, so they were need to break the law in order to get this money?

there are always jobs available, it's just the majority are not attractive, Thats true, I read somewhere that there are at them moment half a million vacancies available. Alton Towers for example are currently taking on around 800 jobs for next season... shit money, not a very attractive job... but it's more than 80quid every two weeks, or however much job seekers is now adays

I have registered on many agencies but they give most of their work to Polish etc because they will work for less and the agency makes more out of them.
