I can't believe that this is the same Peter Coates who owned the club before. He has really put his hand in his wallet this time around and give us fans just what we wanted. All hail Sir Peter.

totally agreed, its obvious to say we aren't all behind tone all the time (which club are always behind the manager) but nobody can argue Peter Coates has done anything but back us big time

Peter some years ago you took some serious shit from supporters of our club. Please accept the sincere thanks of all true fans for the magnificent job you have done since returning. Chairmen rarely get any real praise but you deserve great recognition for the remarkable rennaissance of our great club. Albert Henshall did a great job in the 60/70's. YOU ARE UP THERE WITH HIM

Peter - You DESERVED the shit you got
BUT
Thank you for doing so much in recent times, maybe learning a lesson or two and now showing that you are true to your Stoke roots. You deserve our appreciation because as you know, as a Stoke on Trent man, we will tell it like it is.
Well done Sir Peter

Is it actually Coates dosh or should we be saying thanks to Sky? We had to get out of the Chumpionship to get the Sky money. Coates and Pulis made that happen. Respect is due

Just think were we would be now if Coates had not come back, with out a doubt he has brought the club back to life.

Sky money helps of course but all clubs get it. And there are plenty of clubs in the Prem who won't be spending as much as us this season and Coates deserves huge credit for that. Well done Peter.

ill posted in here as well if only to apeas the forum nazis as i fan of over 40 years i had all but given up on stoke city ever getting back to place i beleive we should be, i was also glad to see the back of Sir Peter when the Icelanders took over, i was also unhappy at his return, and im sure it was a sentiment shared by many others over the years but i am ecstatic that i was wrong about Sir Peter part 2 i salute what you have done for Stoke City football club and the supporters of this once great football club, i now fully believe that you have the clubs best intrest at heart and that you will stop at almost nothing to put us back where we belong Thank You Mr Coates you have cemented your place in the history of Stoke City for all the right reasons wether or not we stay up this season doesnt change the fact that you have given all and more that was hoped for from your return

We are being truly spoilt at the moment – long may it continue. Took balls, at the time, to bring Pulis back too. Proved to be a great decision Well done & Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou.
