Now that we've seen the big 4 down at the Brit (+ Everton and Villa), it's fair to say that the standard hasn't quite been what I expected. Chelsea aside, no team has blown us away. Indeed the defeats to The Shit and Everton could of both gone the other way. Ignoring Chelsea, who do you believe were the best team to visit us? I thought Fulham looked a tidy side, just lacking something up front.

Chelsea were the best without a doubt, although we were mising Rory that day! Griff and Higgy worked really hard to keep them under control down the wings.
Like you, I liked the look of Fulham. I'd go so far as to suggest that Bullard was the best visiting player so far.
There were a few moments when Hull really stretched us going forward, but fortunatley it petered out

Best performance was Chelsea by a mile, nothing spectacular but very professional and solid. They always looked capable of moving up a gear if required.

The standard's definitely not been what I was expecting to witness in the "best league in the world"
I suppose some people would say it's down to the freakish narrowness of our pitch?
We contributed in no small part to it, but I thought Spurs' performance in the first half was the most impressive 45 minutes I've seen, apart from Chelsea. They weren't exactly raining shots in at our goal, but we barely got a kick.
How much of that was down to our failings, who knows?
And they certainly collapsed like a house of cards in the 2nd half.

Well its not us - that's for sure! Thing is,i would say that the pool were the most sporting side to visit the brit this season. No whining, play acting or ref harrassing unlike the manc scum and for that alone well done liverpool. P.s. I never thought i would say this but i hope you win the prem this season.

I expected us to be given a few lessons in football especially by Liverpool Arsenal and the shit. But out of the big four only Chelsea have really impressed.
Arsenal were absolute rubbish despite Wengers attempt to deflect attention away by accusing us of beating them up etc only complete retarded fuckwits like Durhamand Wright actually fell for it!
Liverpool (who I hope win the league) were very poor for a team of their standing apart from the first five or ten minutes.
And the shit were the cheating mardy arsed diving whingeing wankers we all knew they'd be and were very lucky to pinch a late goal (as Liverpool nearly did too)
The last twenty minutes of the first half Tottenham gave us the run around but obviously we murdered them second half Fulham and Villa were as good as anyone I suppose.

West Brazil by a mile.
The way they passed the ball about (in their own half) was a joy to watch. Then when that didn't work they switched to those "long diagonal passes" I honestly thought I was watching Holland from the 1970's, it was that good.
I just hope and pray that one day we can be as great as they are now.

Definitely Chelsea, don't think we created much against Fulham who if they had been more positive should have won the game.

Hull entertained me.Windass trying to annoy Rory,Mcshane trying to pinch towels and that windy keeper booting out for a corner rather than a throw. Priceless -Then there was the biggest clown of the lot standing on the touchline with his singing/dancing microphone on

I think we're all going to agree on this one. Chelsea by a country mile. Everton would never have won, without Cahill's return to the team, and others were lucky. It has been disappointing that the big names we had until now seen only on TV (or watching internationals) have been awful. Ronaldo, Gerrard and the entire Arsenal team, to name but a few. Perhaps they'll do better at the Brit, next season, but we'll be better prepared.

Chelsea were the only side we just didn't have a snowball's against, of the rest I'd pick Villa and Fulham. I'm honestly expecting Villa to finish above Arsenal, maybe even Liverpool. I could see Fulham challenging for top six and that's an incredible turnround by Hodgson, well deserved imo.

I think we have been guilty of giving some teams too much respect tbh.
Chelsea were the most professional/solid team and big respect to John Terry for the way he interacted with stokies. Top Bloke.

In fairness Scouse could hardly come out and start harrassing the referee after Rafa"s outburst could they
The Fat Spanish Waiter actually set a precedent against his own team on Saturday, probably thinking that he would not need the referees help to take three points from the Brit
In reply to the original post - same as most - Chelsea without a doubt
