From securing Premiership survival...and sadly that is two words.
Dave Kitson.
If one accepts that Sidibe is in the side to provide the knock-downs and to do the work for Fuller, then one must also accept that this means that Kitson is a luxury we simply cannot afford.
I asked 5 neutrals what they thought of his performance today, but in the interests of common decency I'll spare the detailed responses, suffice to say that they were less than impressed to say the least.
Other than that I thought Etherington had a great debut and the rest of the team were absolutely magnificent. I wish the guy no harm, but after almost half a season and on todays showing, I'm afraid he's got to go.

Open goal...side netting...ring any bells ? DK is (allegedly) a Premiership professional, but has singularly failed to put one in the net in multiple starts.
He looks awful in the horrendous yellow away kit, he looks fairly horrible in the home kit and he looks horrible running around the pitch but he's a £5.5million player and we need him to score goals asap.
Maybe TP thinks that our opponents can't identify our threat when they can't identify our players, that's why he keeps signing the Senegalese with the same names ?
Imagine a Stoke side whose names were all Faye .......FANTASTIC !!!!

No, Boother...I have watched the guy and have given him the benefit of the doubt up to now.
He lacks pace, confidence, touch and his passing was poor. His work rate was at best average, and his goal attempts poor. For a guy of his height he hardly won the arial battles either. I don't see how we can afford to keep him in the side, ..how long do we wait.?

There's only one thing stopping us now ... from securing Premiership survival...and sadly that is two words. Dave Kitson. Genius tactics mumf! All we have to do from now on ... is not play Dave Kitson until the end of the season and we will be guaranteed to avoid the drop. If only Pulis wasn't so stupid as to realise that football was that simple!

I know it's a cliche , but once he gets one . I'm not over impressed with him but i think we need to give him more time.

Paul....Don't be condescending with me.I'm suggesting we either sell him or part exchange him. It's pretty obvious he's not enjoying his time here.Don't confuse his price tag with value for money.
Half a season= no goals. Time to get rid...He's not up to the job.

I would love to say he is class and I think he will score soon but I just can't see it. How can you say he worked his socks off? He tried to flick it on so many times only for it to go to a Liverpool player. Trust me I want him to do as well as his price tag suggests but I am sorry it just is not going to happen. That said I hope he still proves me wrong but untill now I just can't see it.

What we say now about Kitson is a bit similar to what was said of Mama in his early days. Then he was a tosser who rarely scored now according to some he is a LEGEND!! Somewhere between the two lies the truth

One comment made during a game when were 2-0 down compared to months of vitriolic bile trying to put the knife into one of the players that we should be supporting and giving time.

Paul....Don't be condescending with me. So do you still stand by your original claim ? You know then one about the ONLY thing (Kitson) stopping us from staying up etc. etc. But anyway on to the real world ... The lad was coming back from a TWO MONTH injury playing against the top of the table team in the best league in the world. Just what the fuck were you expecting?

Kitson hit the pass of the season into Richard Cresswell in the first half. If you didn't see it that's a shame, but Kitson's quality is there for any football fan to see. He is finding it hard to play in TPs system but the effort is always there and with time he could be a real asset, lets face it we aren't exactly blessed with great depth upfront and 5 Million doesn't get alot at this level. I just hope the efforts of everyone involved with SCFC get us the time that all our players need to gel into proper Premiership outfit.

Mumf, what's stopping us now is Goals, and like you I'm afraid that if we're waiting for Kitson to contribute, we'll be hanging around the lower reaches of the championship. If like a lot of posters seem to think, that today he was good, they'll be orgasmic, if he manages to actually put the ball in the net. I think T.P is at the limit of his patience with Kitson and so he should be. Christ, I'm in my sixties and I could probably match him for pace over 10 yards.
