I think we've all established that our resident Plymouth fan knows the square root of fuck all about football.

There is only one thing stopping us now,
idiotic fans who can't see what Tony and Coates are trying to build.

I was supporting Stoke 30 years before you were a 'glint' in that builders bum ....
There's no back stabbing from me.Just plain honesty and facts.
You wouldn't go to dentist who couldn't pull teeth....?
You are letting blind faith get the better of you.A very strange phenomena considering you hate the manager so much. You need to get a grip and get some perspective on things.

I gave Kitson a standing ovation from right behind the dug out and he barely responded to us. I gave him the ovation to encourage him and to build up his confidence as did the people around me. If I'm truthful he was very poor for large parts of todays game, including the whole of the first half. At half time he was been quite openly compared with Pericard in our discussions.
For most of the game, we only had one man up front and he was doing the work of two. That man was Richard Cresswell.
Kitson needs to get his head right and he might be a decent signing. In the second half, he had a couple of disagreements with the ref and this seemed to motivate him to make more effort.

he's been injured most his time here so dunno how ya can say he not enjoying his time at stoke and is a waste of money. we've had no wingers at all this season and he need that service. just you wait and he will bang them in. One against chelsea i reckon... Believe me i hope you are right I really really do. Im just voicing my opinion a Stricker who can score goals so far he has 0 nil none ziltch nothing get my drift. What is doing all our heads in is how he managed to score so may goal for Reading the season they went down. I pesonally think we brought him on this fact and that alone not on how he plays cos how he plays is NOT a stoke player and it shows.

After todays performance you just knew there would be someone out there just waiting to find a negative about the game.
Give it a rest. (we were playing the league leaders you know.)

I don't hate the manager Mumf. The things I DID hate about the bloke he has changed to a high degree. In fact I've been defending him of late so You couldn't further from the truth. Unlike some I eat humble pie dignifidely and admit when I'm wrong and get on with it with humility. TP has impressed me but I will still criticise when I see fit. And You will retort that I didn't support Pulis when he came back and that is just nonsense. I was dead against it before he came back damn right I was. But as soon as he was re-appointed I made the judgement to support him whatever and to give him time. Because if I hadn't I'd be like You with Kitson and that is wrong imo.

I'm sorry but Kitson had a decent game, his movement was good and he worked for the whole time he was on the pitch. Like I said earlier, if we found our way to giving him the ball to feet, he'd score plenty.

Mumf, you're a blatant wind-up merchant who gets all too easily wound up. How's Home Park these days? Or aren't you interested in commenting on anything footy-related if there's no singular player to scapegoat?

for the FIRST time this season he played as the STRIKER in the team and he looked like he might of scored, shame his effort in the side netting was his wrong foot or he might of scored. He looked alot better today, if he plays like that every week then he will score goals for sure. Not to mention when lawrence and Etherington start getting those crosses in add Beatie into the mix we might actually score with out Fuller and Sidebe well played DK today

Like I said earlier, if we found our way to giving him the ball to feet, he'd score plenty. That's a very interesting response because for weeks now many have been advocating getting a winger in , and as I'm sure you will appreciate wingers do tend to pass the ball both to feet and in the air.Strikers are there to score the goals regardless. At 6' 4 you would expect him to score more goals though wouldn't you.? Just to clarify my position...I think Kitson is a very intelligent guy, a rarity in modern day football some would argue, but sometimes like in some marriages..it doesn't always work... SometimeS you have to cut your losses and look elsewhere. That is simply the case here.He does seem to be trying...but for whatever reason he seems short of confidence and guile. All the attributes Stoke need to secure another season in the Premiership. In short GOALS.

Kitson is a good player but I admit we look much more effective going foward without him.
Wait until the end of Jan and see who we've bought in by then, this will have a massive bearing on the system we adopt and ultimately how successful Kitson is.
