i like the title of the article? "A Major Signing."
Gifton? Major?
remember when he signed for us 5 and a half years ago? we were promised by Pulis we would be signing a guy who has played in the premiership and we thought we were gonna get someone exciting but then Gifton turned up ;D
how many kids has gifton got now?. is it still only the 6?
that was a great chant wasnt it?
"he's only got 6 kids, he's only got 6 kids."

Agree bayern and he scored a decent number of goals in Spain where the weather was kinder to his arthritis. He'll do ok for them and no doubt will help bring on their youngsters. Good for the Aztex and good for him, I think.

LAZY LAZY , you are so far wide of the mark its not even funny

Gifton was one of my favourite players at the time. He might have been a bit of a donkey but he still scored some goals when it mattered...

He would have been a bloody good footballer if it wasn't for his arthritis. You could see how he became a different player in the summer when he could actually run.

Lay off the Gift! . I liked him, and so did enough of us at the time - unless the GNW chant was ironic and I missed the joke . With 13 goals in his second season with us, he was a veritable goal machine by current standards. Rather him than Periwinkle.

Nah seriously I liked Gifton back in the day, still astounds me how a man can play professional football with arthritis!

After the injury to Ade and Pulis pushed him up front, he was scoring for fun. He was much maligned because Pulis played a bloke with arthritis in the 'Mama role'. How daft can you get? Good luck, Gift. The weather will play a big part in his ability to play.
OS.

Top man and not a bad player. Remember some of the players he replaced and you'll probabley find he wasn't a bad signing for us (wasn't he on a free as well?).
Good luck to him.

Then you have a poor memory. It was towards the end of the 2004/5 season when he scored most of the 13 goals he scored that season after scoring 10 the previous season. And that from a bloke who spent most of his time hobbling because of his arthritus. Even at his worst, he was 10 times better than the bloke your hero keeps playing up front now. OS.

Have to say I always like Gif as well, he played the Mama donkey role pretty well considering his health situation, he seemed to go on big goal droughts and then go on runs of scoring goals, anyone who gets into double figures playing that Mama role must have something going for them.
