Tango is becoming a LEGEND. He talks more shit than Wenger/Fergy/Mourinho and half a dozen others put together. He'll be trying to convince us it's 2009 next. Bottom line is Bennett thought he saw a handball, Villa players plus plus lino convinced him he didn't. So he rightly changed his mind, justice was done. No conspiracy theory needed Should that be happening in football? Should footballers be in such a position that they can change the outcome of a referee's decision? Right or wrong, it's dangerous and will see more scenes where teams try and surround a referee in order to change a decision. The fact is the referee gave a penalty (wrongly) and the linesman positioned himself ready for the penalty to be taken. All of a sudden, both officials changed their minds from being sure it was a penalty to not being sure. Yes they got the right decision in the end but if we are allowing referees to be influenced by players then we are entering dangerous territory. If you saw a decision in favour of Stoke changed by the protests of the opposition, would you be happy? Of course not. It needs to be stopped. What if the decision had been right and the Villa players managed to persuade Bennett (who is a toss referee anyway) to give the wrong decision? That sums up precisely the position of our Chairman, with the support of the Manager. Unfortunately, the great unwashed on this board are incapable of understanding!

Are Dull still moaning about this? Get over it. Week in week out teams are shafted by referees and their shite decisions, it's part of the game, then this week a ref gets the decision right and phil Brown starts fucking crying. Decisions even themselves out for every single side, sadly Phil Brown fails to recognise this. Pulis never or hardly ever complains about the refs, because he knows we often get dodgy decisions go our way. Rooney and Ronaldo should have been sent off, they wern't and they beat us, we've now moved on however dissapointing it was.

Like i said before the ref IMHO only went over to the linesman to get Barry to move away, the penalty had been awarded, and only then did the ref decide to elaborate with the linesman.IMHO if the ref hadn't had to shift Barry he would not have gone over and the pen would of stood. It could also be said that the lino was buzzing the ref (or whatever it is they do) but the ref was surrounded by Villa players. He then went to the lino as soon as he could.

tango and his gang can keep moaning all they want about this, hopefully til may then they can add it to getting relegated, decisions are decisions you'll never get em changed, cresswell vs derby in cup ( NOT OFFSIDE, NO HANDBALL, GOOD GOAL ) refs get it wrong sometimes for sometimes against as long as they are fair to both sides some wrong decisions can be tolerated but not agreed with. what can't be tolerated is refs that are blatantly star struck and biased towards top teams ( boxing day et al )

Just Hulls luck starting to even out was my view
never a hand ball / never a penalty
what about an FA investigation into why Hull CITY ARE JUST A SET OF ANNOYING, JAMMY JAMMY BASTARDS ?
more appropriate surely ?

I'm not sure the ref moved in the opposite direction to the liner ,and when he did go over why not go direct to the liner its almost as a last resort he goes to him.

you mean one of the two black guys your centre halves were reduced to dragging all over the pitch and fouling EVERY single challenge at our place recently ?
plus
two attempts at goal ALL game and one VERY lucky goal out of those attempts gives you a draw
pretty feeble in my book
As I said - massiveLy overrated team and manager who've used all their seasons luck prior to Xmas
we'll see Hull Below us - and soon methinks
promotion by the playoffs wasnt it ?
couldnt even manage to do that properly i.e. get enough points for an automatic place
Yorkshirmen - short arms - deep pockets - and EXTREMELY short memories

vbb, Clearly mate, I've tried to reason with the rank hysteria concerning the "mystery decision" theory with a sensible idea about why a bloke with something in his ear would move it a little when someone standing next to him is trying to talk to him while 22,000 are screaming for a penalty. Apparently though it would seem it makes more sense that there is some great conspiracy!
