So, here we are again on a Friday morning just hours away from another Premier League fixture. It's been so much better since the last international break and we go into this match on the back of great home form- five consecutive victories is something to be very proud of. With a couple of injuries, expect some changes. I will start... Sorensen Griffin Cort Ab. Faye Higginbotham Tonge Diao Olofinjana Delap Fuller Sidibe Subs: Simonsen, Sonko, Wilkinson, Am. Faye, Whelan, Soares, Cresswell Prediction? 1-0 Stoke. Fuller Stoke (from): Sorensen, Griffin, Shawcross, Cort, Amdy Faye, Higginbotham, Soares, Tonge, Abdoulaye Faye, Diao, Delap, Sidibe, Fuller, Kitson, Cresswell, Simonsen, Olofinjana, Wilkinson, Whelan, Pugh, Pericard.
Hull (from): Myhill, McShane, Turner, Ricketts, Ashbee, Boateng, Marney, Geovanni, Cousin, King, Dawson, Doyle, Barmby, Windass, Hughes, Folan, Garcia, Halmosi, Giannakopoulos, Duke.

I can't predict games this season, most of mine have been wrong. All I will say is that we've scored in every away game this season, including a couple of 3's,so with that in mind my only prediction is that we will score.

I'm getting bad vibes on this one....I just can't explain why...2-2 draw(although I have been talking to sFANCE in my defence)

I’d go with
Sorro
Griff Sonko Ab Faye Higgy
Soares Diao Oli Delap
Mamamamamamamamamamama Fuller
I can see it being another tight game with the odd goal sealing it. Either 1-0 or 2-1 to us I’ll go for.

3-1 Stoke Fuller x 2, Sidibe
Diao to follow Geovanni round like a bad smell. See everyone else made the stupid fucking mistake of thinking all you have to do to beat Hull is turn up.
We won't.

I think Mr. Knowles may have it about right, although I would prefer to see Rory move inside and maybe give Tonge and Soares ago in the wide positions but I don't think TP will go with that idea.
Edit: Forgot my prediction! ;D
2-1 Stoke Mama from a Rory exocet, Ric with a bit of magic and Hull to score from a corner again.

I'd love to see Rory move inside- the work he gets through in that position largely goes unnoticed. However, I don't think TP will put him in the centre until Liam returns (if at all).

Agreed James. We do miss Rory's energy when he isn't played in the middle (not to say he doesn't do a great job wherever he plays)

is amdy out for this one? I can't really see us starting with more than one of tonge/soares, so delap on the left, 2 of amdy, diao + seyi in the middle, and tonge/soares on the right. Pretty sure cort will start ahead of sonko.
As for a prediction, 1-1, fuller (skins turner and finds the bottom corner) and giovanni (free kick) the scorers. Should be a cracking and very tense game.

Amdy is available but I reckon Olofinjana will return and, after two good performances in a week (against WBA and for the reserves), I think Tonge will take Soares' place.

Alright boys, not passed by in a while
Great home record meets great away record.......I'd say this game has draw written all over it unless Geo comes up with something out of the ordinary
Think 1-1 has been quite a common score between us recently so will go with that

Hull City boss Phil Brown told BBC Look North: "They've conceded the first goal on seven occasions and lost all seven.
"When they've scored first on five occasions they've won, so it's the first goal that matters."
Er.....sorry to have to correct you, Tango Man. Aston Villa?

Strangely i'm less nervous about this than vs the Baggies....probably because I was worried about where a goal would come from with Ric missing.... lordb is right I think, this really is hard to predict and could go either way. We are more than capable of winning but Hull play with no fear, particularly away.... head says 2-2, heart says 3-1.

I'd take a draw from this game and I'm predicting a 1-1 but given if we get the first goal we generally go on to win then that must mean Hell will have to score first for this to happen and when we've conceeded first we've not got much back. So I can't see why I think 1-1..................mmmmmm

Hi guys, i have seen every game this eason home and away, TP will have given the boys a pre pep talk already. I have noticed our players take most things onboard and adjust to the type of play. Dont give out negative vibes about the score line we will win this game. This is from a loyal Stokie living in Turkey, we get the match live every game for nowt yhipeeeeeeeee. GO ON STOKE

Coming up from Bath to see my third match of the season . My nephew Jamie is coming with me and thinks he's a Man City fan so we need to MAKE SOME NOISE and score at least 3 to convert him .

Where in Bath are you, bathstokie? Know the place very well since my parents' lived there for about 20 years after retirement until last year when they died, and I'm in the process of sorting out their (still find it difficult to think of it as mine!) flat in central Bath to let. Can't go tomorrow because of work commitments ( ) - I predict a 2:0 win (Fuller x 2) and a successful conversion of your nephew!
