I'll have that point.
4 hours ago, me head was right.
Another 1-1 v hull.
Fair result I reckon. Two teams with very similar styles and mentalities play out another stalemate.

Hull played well!?!?!!?? They've been shite! The only threat on goal they've actually cause in 90 minutes they scored (credit on that count) but otherwise they've offer next to screw all!
1-1 . . . bollox . . . they were there for the taking. Offered absolutely fuck all coming forward were all to happy to sit back and defend. Can't remember one genuine effort on target in the 2nd half and the only one in the 1st they scored, sums things up really!

If we'd got Lawrences dead ball deliveries in this game it would of been about 4-1!

Good point on the balance of play. Fair do's to Hull...they came to try and win it albeit on the counter...

Like us, I thought they did what they do. Soak it up and take their chances oin the counter (albiet bad defending from us). Looking at the stats it was pretty even (given we were home side). I'm happy (and we have broken our "got something without scoring first" duck too boot) ah

Hull are no pushovers but taking the chances that each side had then we should have won that one. We just lack a bit of creativity to mix it up a bit. We really do need to improve our decision making in/around the box. Passing when we should be shooting and shooting when we should be passing, that kinda thing. Hull were always capable of getting something on the break - they move forward quite fast and are much more comfortable on the ball than we are. I think both teams will be happy enough with a point.

I think we squeaked it on chances, especially the header that Myhill saved diving to his right, man, I thought that was in, but I'm happy to take the point.

Goal difference is very worrying with it being so close points wise!

Away from home I think Hull offer a bit more than us going forward. I can see why they have done so well away from home. They are a decent side on the counter-attack. I don't think today was one of their better days but I saw enough to understand why they are currently the best of the three promoted sides. Their no.6 (Turner?) looks a good, solid player.

Can you believe it's the end of November and we're 2 points from 7th?! And Hull goal difference from 5th!!?
I think that says everything about the premier this time: Tight as a duck's arse.
Two organised sides played out a draw ... Ans we weren't the only one ... Boro & Castle and Villa & Fulham did the same.
Look on the bright side, we could be Sunderland! (Shocking result for them). And poor old Brazil ...
IF we can win 1 of Castle or Fulham (and draw the other) I'll be happy with this set of four.

What a cheap, filthy, cheating bunch of scum Mr Oompa Loompa brought to town today.
Cheating tactics at every opportunity, Dull players trying to kick ours, time wasting, whinging at the ref, throwing towels away from ball boys, and this secret weapon of trying to put off Rory with fatty Wind-arse.
You are Oompa-Loompa, like my arse.

We dominated the first half and they fluked one in during injury time completely against the run of play...second half was a bit more even but we were still the better team but couldn't turn possession into goals..we also lacked a bit (lot) of creativity in the final third of the field...so overall I think it was a dissapointing result..
Its also worth stating that Hull employ some very shady tactics re; the opposition, which in many peoples eyes is very close to cheating...constant harrassment of officials...Windass running up and down past Rory trying to put him off..wasting time kicking the ball away from Stoke players at the end...
Very very sneaky Tango Man...

Anyway, I'd just like to apologise to all those Premier League pampered prima donas that:
our players are too tall Rory's throw ins are too good our players are too strong we are a bunch of cloggers our pitch is too narrow we don't play 'football'
and finally that only Liverpool have won more points than us at home
It really shouldn't be allowed
And finally, finally this time,
the fact that yesterday (according to the BBC stats) we had: 53% of the play 12 attempts on goal to Dull's 6 5 corners to their 2 committted 2 less fouls than them had one player less booked
shouldn't detract one little bit that Phil 'drool over my fake tan' Brown's Dull City, like West Brazil before them, play the best football in the civilised world and that we should really go down on bended knee just for having the marvellous priviledge of being allowed to rub shoulders with them.
