Just had a text off the person who told me about the Andrew Davies deal, and Rudgey being in Barcelona, to say that we should have a new left winger in time for Villa game

Apparently one of Wisla Krakow's better players is a 29-year-old left winger called Zienczuk, and there was a rumour it was a Wisla player he was checking on?

But looks like he only played half the game out there, and there's some doubt about whether he's good enough to step up to the Prem. If he was , you'd have thought he'd have got a move before now.

Glasgow Rangers bought Mendes yesterday and agreed a fee for Steven Davies from Fulham, today. I wonder if Pulis will go back in for McCulloch?..............although he's hardly your conventional winger type, is he?

Well the reresentative of Andrew Davies said that after the two Faye signings, Davies would be our last permanent signing, but that we would be bringing in loan players. Although I would be surprised if that was set in stone as the message from the club all summer has been that if the right player came along then they would attempt to sign them.
