Off on Thursday and currently have 5 books to read -
Sniper One - Dan Mills Strike Back - Chris Ryan Crossfire - Andy McNabb Common as Muck: The Autobiography of Roy 'Chubby' Brown My Manchester United Years - Bobby Charlton (yes, i know....)
Leaving bobby at home. no space in the case... plus there's my PSP with 7Gb of games downloaded...

thanks for some of the replies....
swampy - have read all of the bill bryson travel books. all superb! didn't realise fat boy fry had a book out. dare say that would be a good read... Only got the chubby brown as it was 1.99 from "the works"

i know... it was another one of the 99p / 1.99 purchases. it was very funny... speaks about his times shagging himself senseless working at butlins and then his time with the nolans
i tell you.. it's good!
by far the crappest book i've 1/2 read - stuart pearce autobiography

You could always grab hold of Roger Mellies Profanosaurus, that'll keep you amused for hours and hours! Does it come in book format? If not, I'm sure you could download the latest "issue" from somewhere off t'interweb

Personally I find lots of autobiographies a bit predictable and bland.
However one book which I read a few years back has remained one of my favourites. Its a the autobiography of a girl called Sandra Gregory and the book is called Forget you ever had a daughter.
Its a gripping book which i can pretty much guarantee you'll love!

The Damned United if you've not already read it.
It's coming out on film later in the year however I'm sure the bnook will be better.
Great read for any footy fan.

For fiction, i'd recomment the folloing authors. Perfect holiday fodder:
Christopher Brookmyre Iain Banks Terry Pratchett Elmore Leonard Lawrence Block Robert Rankin
Won't go far wrong, and they've written about 300 books between them.
