You have to be the most incompetent ref I've seen for many years and that really is an achievement. Gouranga.

Forget the shite we produced, we scored he disallowed it, we gave away a foul he awarded a penalty, Million gets mugged by 2 Swansea players and gets a yellow card, just a few examples. Gouranga.

We’d have lost that if we’d been reffed by the most Stoke biased you could find.
The ref would have had to kick it into their net for us
Did we have a shot on target

Got those two big decisions wrong.
The penalty one is probably a very tough decision in real time.
The disallowed goal he's probably not looking at it and just makes an assumption.
Either way, his performance made no difference to just how bad we were tonight. If we had of equalised, Swansea would have just sliped from first gear to second gear.
We were pedal to the metal, in reverse from minute one.

Notwithstanding how bad we were, that performance was up there with th3 very most incompetent and corrupt I’ve seen in the championship. Bring in VAR and stop these clowns having the influence they do.

Standard of reffing in the Championship is shocking throughout. Check out the ‘penalty’ decision for West Brom against Rotherham

Goals change games the Enis goal should stand as he didn't tackle the keeper at all the keeper hits him with the ball a goal keeping error and the penalty wasn't, that said it was as an abject performance from a team needing something I.ve ever seen, we've lost half our games this season so that's not on the ref.

And it wasn’t a penalty But we were shit But 1.1 and no penalty, who knows Glad the decisions came tonight when it didn't matter so much Prefer that a tight game against Weds or Plymouth decided by a bad decision

Our goal should stand and the penalty was probably outside the box with VAR but we can't hide behind that as we were absolutely fucking woeful tonight. Having said that these moments do make a big difference in games and the officiating in the Championship is pathetic at best.

Keith Stroud has always been controversial in his long career and when reffed us at Rotherham in January it was his 600th game officiating. The 2 decisions tonight were poor but not why we lost the game. Pulis had history with Stroud many years ago and the club asked for him not to be appointed to our games after an away game at Ipswich many moons ago. He’ll never change sadly

On the way home. Pitch was fairly waterlogged and they coped with it better than us. We couldn't string passes together. Should have started a defensive formation and gone with the mindset of not losing.

He was crap tonight. The law says that he shouldn't allow the goal to stand if the 'keeper has the ball in both hands and he is CHALLENGED for the ball. He was not CHALLENGED. He literally bounced the ball on Ennis's head himself. Terrible decision. He was right on the spot for the 'penalty' incident and their player was clearly challenged OUTSIDE the box. Yes, as ALBERT SAYS... he should take a bow for his incompetence.
OS.

The thing is those decisions like the disallowed goal and shite peno decision could have turned the game in our favour. Unlikely i know but all it takes is a moment like that to lift heads.
As many have said including me, we were fucking dreadful but we could have had a faint glimmer of hope.

It was a difficult decision for the ref without VAR and I have a sliver of sympathy with him on this. Split second decisions on not normal circumstances. The second decision regarding the penalty was outside the area and he was two yards plus behind visible certainty. He looked unfit to me. When you look at the ref last night at Asrenal they are worlds apart.

Just seen the penalty WBA got awarded tonight against Rotterham, makes Stroud look like Colina. I'm not sure the standard of refereeing can get much worse.

Whenever a keeper drops a ball you can guarantee a ref will take the easy option.

But I think his initial instinct would be that Ennis moved his head into the ball. No doubt that VAR would have had a decision about it in the Prem.

I don't think Ennis was aware he was there to be fair but if a bus goes past the ground and a keeper drops the ball then is usually judged in their favour

We were crap, but the equaliser would have made a difference!
Matches are decided on fine margins.
What was the liner doing?
It was awful team selection and awful performance, that said Swansea were poor and the equaliser may have altered the outcome.
Let’s hope for better performance and commitment for Saturday, and yeh, a decent referee/linesman.
Conna lose that one 🫣

Yes, as ALBERT SAYS... he should take a bow for his incompetence. OS. Our goal was absolutely nothing and should have stood. The penalty was a tackle on McNally and should have been a free kick for us. He gave them soft FKs all night, and nothing for us, even if they were pushing with straight arms and playing dirty all night. Keith Stround wouldn't understand football if we kicked it in his face, and should frankly be investigated for corruption. It's not possible to be that bad and not be bent. Did we deserve to lose? Yes we did. Poor tactics (trying to play it along the ground in 5 inches of water, WTF?!?), poor work rate (bar Manhoef) and poor game management. This one was 50% Schuey and 50% the players.
