Today was a huge wake up call. It was always going to be tough but it was the lack of passion that was so tough to take.
I really don’t think that 3 CBs is the answer as on todays performance we aren’t more solid for it.
With everyone fit I’d like us to go 4231
Iverson
Hoever/Junior Rose McNally Stevens
Pearson Burger
Million Baker Bae
Mmaee

We don’t go anywhere. We just wait for the next team to come along put in 30 minutes of a decent shift against us playing as wide as possible overload us on both wings and keep switching it side to side before they hit the back of the net. They can then spend the next 60 minutes with their foot off the gas.

They just kept playing the ball over the top of our defence or in behind massive space with our full backs

Looks like we'll be missing Pearson, Gooch (both Hamstring injuries) and Burger for the next match, thats pretty shit

Not much has changed thanks to other results, Norwich are a good team and played to their potential, we didn’t. I’m disappointed but hardly surprised.
I wasn’t expecting many points this month, we’ve already picked up 6 with the win against Boro and then Preston, which is pretty good considering how bad we were before.
We have 8 games left, the games against Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday, and Plymouth will likely decide our fate.
We can rebuild yet again in the summer, hopefully it’s in the Championshp, I think we’ll just about stay up. A truly dreadful season though.

Look at the bigger picture. Yes it was woeful, but apart from our GD getting worse, nothing has really changed in the table. Other teams lost too or drew, so we're still 19th. We still have a very good chance for staying up.

Without Burger on the pitch, there seemed no urgency or passion from the team. Bae, Campbell, baker, McNally etc struggled and showed no urgency. The only positive thing is no one else in the bottom 8 won today, so we keep our nose above water for now. Hull next up, still no Burger🫣 Huddersfield a must win🙏

League 1 the trap door is looming large. 3 wins & maybe 2 draws to be sure of being safe.

It doesn't matter if you had Van Basten upfront these absolute chancers protecting our goal are going make it nip and tuck all the way to the finish line.

Not happy and nor should he be though he has to take some responsibility as clearly he’s the man who prepares them and sets the tactics.

We lost to a very good side today, but losing doesn’t mean that we are doomed ffs. Chances are we will get nothing from our next game away to hull and that won’t mean that we are doomed either. The four home games left and Swansea and Wednesday away are the vital games so we just press on.

9 games left of the season with relegation a real possibility and you throw in a performance like that at home. It's really not acceptable. We can only move on and hope for an improvement at Hull.
