9 games left of the season with relegation a real possibility and you throw in a performance like that at home. It's really not acceptable. We can only move on and hope for an improvement at Hull. We need 3 wins

We go to Hull, pick up a point before bringing Huddersfield back for a scrappy 1-0 home win…….

We've still won 2 of the last 4.
Norwich were a very good team today.

Every time I come on here there’s an advert for office chairs on casters at the bottom. Probably more movement in them than that shower that pull on the shirts. We are at the mercy of the others losing

We'll back the team and Schumacher and avoid the drop. Regroup in the Summer and challenge top 6 spot 24-25 season.
Or we'll change the manager and staff, get into a disarray, and start again from scratch in League 1.

Him and Wilmot were the weak links last week and the win glossed over it. Add in that he does something brain dead at least twice a match, not hard to see why we are where we are when he’s the fucking captain

I think any Stoke fan would've taken being 19th now when we were in the bottom 3. It's very tight down there. Would it have been better to draw the last 4 games instead?

Today was a huge wake up call. It was always going to be tough but it was the lack of passion that was so tough to take. I really don’t think that 3 CBs is the answer as on todays performance we aren’t more solid for it. With everyone fit I’d like us to go 4231 Iverson Hoever/Junior Rose McNally Stevens Pearson Burger Million Baker Bae Mmaee Granted I only watched on a stream but genuinely, I don’t see a lack of effort and I didn’t see it yesterday either. They were simply miles better than us on the day and the way we set up had us all over the shop. We are just crap. No amount of effort makes up for how shit they are. Gooch being a perfect example. Lad gives absolutely everything. He’s wank!

To be fair it’s probably a bit of both. I always think the Cup highlights how you can still win even if you’re massively lacking in quality in comparison to the opposition. What I would say though is that regardless of who you’re playing you’d expect more than we gave yesterday.

You might get away with it in an isolated cup game where you drag the opposition down to your level but week in week out, bad players will be found out and that is, sadly, very much the case with us. Burger and Junho aside, we simply aren’t very good.

As said above, they were just miles better than us on the day, saw our frailties and exploited them - it was geniunely naive defending and setup, line was all over the place and they beat us up
That said, we could/should have scored at least a couple, maybe 3 goals
The header by Laurent first half (at 1-0) was a sitter The corner goal where twatbag Ward blew up Ennis fluffed his lines when he had a clear opportunity Mmaae didnt shoot when he had a clear shot and the ball sitting nicely, and skied another
Another day we score and make it interesting, although they lost interest after the 3rd and settled
We are just slow and cumbersome, and some of our lassing is woeful compared to the crisp, accuracy of some of the teams we face.

We lost to a very good side today, but losing doesn’t mean that we are doomed ffs. Chances are we will get nothing from our next game away to hull and that won’t mean that we are doomed either. The four home games left and Swansea and Wednesday away are the vital games so we just press on. A very good side? Not really. It's just that we manage to make even average sides, look like 1970s Brazil, especially at home. The season's been littered with shit results against sides with (Norwich as an example), 4 away wins before yesterday (they are now 15th in the away table, they were below us, and we're shit). Blackburn away (hadn't scored since god knows when, been crap & can't buy wins since beating us etc..) is another example. Pathetic. We're talking here like sometimes, we just need to doff our caps. "Ooohhh they were a great side". Ffs.
