At least I've apologised unlike yourself but just to clarify you've not abused me either its just your childish name calling but I expected nothing less. What names did I call you? I'm having a grown up conversation elsewhere on the forum so forgive me for not being interested in you anymore.

Schumacher should just be telling him that every goal he scores increases his personal value. 1 from 16 in the league isn't much to negotiate with regardless where he goes.

I'm a Campbell defender usually but I have to say he just doesn't seem to buying into the Schuey work ethic.
He was ambling around yesterday and he's not offering enough on the ball to warrant his lack of effort off it. And if I hear one more person compare this to Fuller I'll scream, one was a special player and one is struggling to consistently score 5 goals as season in the championship.
I just don't think he'll ever be a central striker as much as we all hoped he would be.

i really think that Blackburn might drop they have a real bad run in,maybe a move for Szmodics, if Campbell leaves,or even Whittaker if Plymouth drop, i think we are only for players short of been a good team in this league,,provided we stay in it, Szmodics is Prem bound.

I like Campbell, there's a decent striker in him somewhere. I doubt he has settled for where he is, I'm sure his Dad wouldn't have allowed that attitude. He would likely have grown up in an environment where he has always wanted to improve and never settle for less, he has just hit a bit of a wall. He needs to get his confidence back, he needs support from the fans and he needs to stay fit. A period of stability would do him good.

Campbell is only a 1 on 5 striker 29 goals in 139 games for us will he be missed when he's gone Almost identical to Jacob Brown for us then. And he is vilified as a shit footballer/goalscorer (by some on here). The difference is Jacob Brown makes the absolute most of his limited ability, Ty Campbell has rarely made the most of his obviously greater natural talent.

Anyone noticed that away from the groans at Stoke Dwight Gayle has scored two in three for Derby? We have a strange way of supporting the players we want to score goals for us. Since Fuller I am struggling to think of a striker who has received unconditional support (and even he had his critics). I don't expect all fans to have a degree in psychology but just a little understanding of it would help.

Tyrese Campbell is not as good as he thinks he is. He is Overated and he doesnt want to be here so when he moves on in the summer it's best for both parties I think

Campbell is only a 1 on 5 striker 29 goals in 139 games for us will he be missed when he's gone People keep repeating this stat but conveniently forget that 1) For much of his career he's been played as a winger, not as central striker 2) He's been used often as an impact sub, which can work for some, but if you come into a struggling team with 10 mins to go, goals are not going to be flowing 3) He has sometimes been used as a central striker, but only when other strikers weren't available. Campbell needs security and full backing, which comes when you're playing in the role over a sequence of games. I doubt that he's ever played 10 games in succession as that striker 4) Stoke is a low scoring team with few chances per game, and it may not be the striker's fault entirely if he isn't the goal monster everyone desires. That's not to say that Ty is without faults.

Do we really need endless posts criticising our own players? What does this achieve? Probably because its hard for us to praise people who dont deserve it? However Campbells talent WAS recognised in the opening thread!

Do we really need endless posts criticising our own players? What does this achieve? It's a discussion forum. OK, there's criticism, but most of it is people's thoughts and it's not all negative. Do we only discuss positive things?

Not good enough for the Prem.
How many Championship clubs can afford to pay him what he will be looking for?
Maybe a relegated side can afford his pay demands, but with his goal scoring record, would they be willing to pay it?
Rangers have been mentioned, but do they want him?
Can see him going abroad, but it won't be a top European club though.

Campbell's striker rate is a goal ever 4.5 games and yet to hit 30 goals in his career for us
Injuries obviously not helped but not a particularly impressive strike rate . Not bad but this natural finisher and goalscorer stuff

No I think he’s shown where he’s at. Even the Campbell Club have stopped defending him now. Bad, worse or worst, but even Campbell does not deserve to be cheered off by his own alleged supporters.
