Was outstanding from minute one and I’m convinced it makes a difference to the players. What a proud day it must have been for John Walters today sitting next to Coates and having his name sung again by the crowd 👏 Great to see Huth pre game as well who also received a good reception

Looking forward to losing my voice at Leeds on Tuesday

Long may it continue

The players need their fans getting behind them especially when things are tough. Fans can get more out of a team than I think some actually believe they can. Likewise negative fans can drag a team down. If the fans did 10 minutes at the start of every home game then maybe everyone couod drag this club to safety and make the stadium a fortress once more.
It would be quite something if the 10 minutes stuck and became some sort of new tradition, even if the match was shit it might make the day a little more entertaining.

You could tell by the way the players were trying to keep the levels of support whipped up that they must think it really helps them. Only too happy to oblige.

For me wasn't just the support for our players but dishing out stick to the opposition, makes all the difference oh and the referee was shit again as well...

Mrs said to me you must have won because your voice has gone. Everyone tried today even in that 20 min spell when we went a bit limp.

If you can’t manage 10 minutes support as asked for by SJW then you should definitely FOU the Vale because you’re a burden on the team and will help send whatever team you ‘profess’ to support down.
Superb support today and the team responded.
If we are to survive this season the home support will be key.

At one point this daft old bugger had a tear in his eye. I've not enjoyed it for ages. Stoke to me is more about the fans than what goes on on the pitch, always has been. As a young lad I was mesmerised by the old boothen full to the rafters in all its glory sitting in the seats in the stoke end. Positivity over negativity any day of the week.

You stepped up today and gave it a real buzz at times. And I think the players bought into it.
Let's rebuild the Fortress 👊 🤜 🤛

A wall of sound has be at least a bit off-putting for many away teams. Being passive and reactionary might be an inevitable result of our players letting us down over the years.. but... that response must also make visiting ST4 far too bloody comfortable for the travelling mob. For that reason alone, let's crack on with the gobby output!

I’ve said on here many times, as an 11 year old lad the Boothen End filled me with equal amounts of excitement and fear. That is what Stoke is to me. Nothing can take that away.

We're in it together, little bit strange that it took an ex player to remind some folk but whatever,we aren't going down if opposition teams have to face us like it was today.

Let’s be honest managers and players come and go but it will always be the fans club so let’s keep it going for us and make sure we give it our best shot to stay up.
Doesn’t half make my weekend better
Well done to all

As a young lad I was mesmerised by the old boothen full to the rafters in all its glory sitting in the seats in the stoke end. Positivity over negativity any day of the week. Couldn’t have put it better myself. Anyone can be a fan of a football team. My brother-in-law’s from Iran 🇮🇷, now lives in Peterborough and is a fan of Manchester United. He’s been to Old Trafford just once. You see similar in the Far East where the local lads predominantly wear the colours of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and more lately Manchester City. I’ve even seen half and half shirts bearing the colours of two of the above. A few even wear PSG or Bayern (the football club, not the Oatcake troll) tops. None of this is supporting of course and to do that you really do have to do the cold, wet Tuesday nights and even more than this, carry your club in your heart. ‘Your’ club never leaves you and never changes and I felt that today was a baby step towards getting those feelings back.
