Everyone I’ve spoken to enjoyed the game today. Not just the football but the atmosphere and singing and togetherness we all showed. It’s probably the most I’ve enjoyed a game since we came down.
The mentals for each goal were brilliant as well

100% agree. I felt really Emotional when we scored the second.
So pleased with all aspects today. The Delilah was the loudest I’ve heard in ages!

With the games we have left, we need that another 5 times. That felt like how it's supposed to. Great afternoon.

We need to keep booing the opposition whenever they are on the ball. Put all the pressure on the opposition and take it off of ourselves

100% agree. I felt really Emotional when we scored the second. So pleased with all aspects today. The Delilah was the loudest I’ve heard in ages! My 12yr old daughter who has been a ST holder & coming the games with me & her older sister for years now, asked me on the way home after the match if what she thought she heard during the Delilah song was correct..! She elaborated & said what 'D' went into her hand Dad, knowing full well what the word was she'd heard?! Whilst initially finding it quite funny her asking this, as had anticipated it coming a long while ago now, it dawned on me that when a good rendition of Delilah was pumped out from the crowds when she first started coming the exact words to Delilah wouldn't have been a big concern for her back then. & especially as it's been a long old time since some real good renditions of 'Delilah' have been sang with real meaning and gusto at a home match.. But some seasons later due to its absence or half hearted attempts to get it going, she wanted to clarify if what she thought was being sang, was actually the case 😉🤣.. About time I thought to myself, my daughter asking me this question is surely a good sign the atmosphere of some sort is starting to edge back in again.. 🤔🤣 & long may it continue 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Without wishing to sound like a killjoy...amazing as it was, am I the only one a bit worried that it's taken players from years ago to get this atmosphere back rather than anyone in the current team being able to even come close to doing it?
Don't get me wrong, it's brilliant for ex-players to come back and give us a Pottermouth-esque call to arms (I loved SJW's bit the other day, for instance) but we're only going to stay up if the actual current players instill this in the support every week. It can't be left down to the old guard to get us riled up for the fight. These guys have set the bar for themselves today. We know now how hard they can work and hustle, now they have to prove they can keep it up. If they can, we're safe (and I'm already counting Tuesday as a a loss, no shame losing to Leeds, so not going to judge based on that) but a long way to go though.
Just hoping they've shown themselves now what they're capable of at least in least in terms of graft and what it means to so many to wear the red and white stripes.
A tentative "we can fucking do this" from me. Prove it to us now lads!

That was just like the atmosphere was at the Brit in the good days. Got to repeat the atmosphere now for every remaining home game.No if no buts just do it.

It would be great if it became a thing that only Stoke fans did when we are at home. If the atmosphere is great it will draw in more supporters and make everyone's day a little better. It could be like the Haka and used to intimidate the opposition, make them nervy and set the match up for the players to go and take advantage of it. At the end of the day people don't just want to watch a football match they want a great day out. Nobody wants to sit there quietly like Arsenal fans people want a buzz and be loud and proud We bring the starter and hopefully the players bring the main and dessert. It's a team effort and the fans are part of the team. Any team that comes to our ground should know they aren't welcome here

Great stuff!
We just need to lose those acres of empty seats.
My mates who follow other clubs are always asking me why it looks like there is no one there.
I guess only the Premier League would do that?

The whole experience yesterday was much, much better and I loved Bakers celebration.

Makes a big difference to the experience of the day,
We have given the team a start in terms of vocal support before, only for it dissipate due to watching lifeless performances. It went both ways today.
The wife was grateful too
Everyone wins when Stoke win

No reason why we can't get something from Elland road on Tuesday as long the team apply themselves like yesterday. We need exactly the same mindset from the start & if we score first the crowd is on there backs as things are looking very tight at the top now.

If you can’t manage 10 minutes support as asked for by SJW then you should definitely FOU the Vale because you’re a burden on the team and will help send whatever team you ‘profess’ to support down. Superb support today and the team responded. If we are to survive this season the home support will be key. “A burden” 😂 the support was great though granted

At one point this daft old bugger had a tear in his eye. I've not enjoyed it for ages. Stoke to me is more about the fans than what goes on on the pitch, always has been. As a young lad I was mesmerised by the old boothen full to the rafters in all its glory sitting in the seats in the stoke end. Positivity over negativity any day of the week. Seats in the Stoke end?

I only watched on the dodgy stick but it sounded so much better and the players definitely fed off the crowd. Those 20k made the noise of a full house at times

The atmosphere was much better but as I’m a moaning old bugger I still have a few gripes!
Why don’t the corner of the sentinel stand/away end listen to and then join in with what block 19 start and vice versa?
Quite a few times one section was singing one song and the other side was singing something else.
Also, corner of sentinel/away end. Don’t just start singing Delilah. You have to get the silence in first so that it works effectively. Only once did we get a proper Delilah and that was started from the corner of the boothen end/sentinel stand. Even then the away end corner had finished before everyone else. Slow the fuck down.
And finally…it’s red and white army not barmy army!
Apart from that it was much better on Saturday but still a long way to go before it’s back to what it can be!

When I get to go to a game I’m always frustrated at the speeding up of the songs…..drives me insane and they always just peter out. I was impressed with the Geordies at an away game(hate to say it as I hate em) recently, great variety of songs, very loud but more importantly,in fucking tempo.
