Ffs schuey, wake up and smell the coffee.
Iversen has been a fucking disaster. Along with cundle the pair of them shouldn't be anywhere near Stoke-on-Trent.

Didn't like being right on this one but when he come in I said I wasn't convinced by him. Sadly think I've been proven right by this one on Iverson.
Bonham was in good form at the time and should have not been dropped.

unexpectedly being thrown into the 1st team spotlight seemed to bring out the best in Bonham

Said it after one game he was no better.
I don't understand what's gone wrong with Iversen. He was superb at Preston.
If we somehow survive at this level this season the first signing has to be Johansen from Rotherham.

Besides the QPR game I don’t recall Iversen making a single save.
He’s fucking wank.

He can’t save a damn thing. First goal was bad enough but the second was pathetic. Any shot on target and you fear it’s a goal. Another wonderful decision from the manager.

He looks stiff and immobile but until today I wouldn’t have said he was particularly at fault for any goal we’ve conceded. No way should he have been beaten by the 2nd goal today. It was so so poor. The goalkeeper situation here has been a joke for years,

Are some keepers just like that or do some take ages to get going after a period of no games?

Conceded an average of 2 a game and his save percentage is 47% which is appalling.

Pretty much any shot on our goal finishes up in the back of our net. I'm not convinced football can even be Iversen's main sport. I said when we signed him that he should not go straight in to the side but instead he should fight for the place with Jack and I was told by an Admin on here to 'suck it up' for my trouble

Again, why is this happening when proven, quality players at this level sign for us?

We just sign players at the wrong time don’t we?
Two years ago Iversen was a top Championship keeper.
Instead of signing him at that point (FFP maybe) we wait until he has a confidence shattering spell in a relegation campaign, and his career development has stagnated to the point he’s yesterday’s man.

When we played Millwall at home in that terrible match before Christmas, I was impressed with Sarkic who was just sharp and athletic and had a bit of presence.

But fuck me sideways I’d give my left testicle to see him in goal for us next week. Iversen has been utterly fucking hopeless.

I'm not a fan of Bonham, but he's no worse than Iversen. At least Jack appears to talk to his defenders and would probably have saved today's second goal. Picking the ball from the net seems to be Iversens engaging quality.

He was piss poor for Leicester last season when they went down and has been shocking for us.
He looks like he has a glass back, so slow to get down and immobile.
Bonham gives me goose bumps but he is certainly no worse than Iverson.
Travers going could well be pivotal in us going into L1. Again another example of piss poor planning in the summer…..
Oh what could have been by signing a decent (permanent) keeper and left back in the summer.

Not signing Sarkic on a permanent contract coupled losing Travers, are the two worst things that have happened in the last 12 months.
Combined, a good chance these disasters will be enough to relegate us.
I can’t believe I am typing this as I don’t rate Bonham, but Bonham should start over Iversen now. Not saving their second was shocking.

They are training everyday so you should loosen shouldn’t you. Has he had an injury? Has a sustained period of not playing meant he’s bulked up with gym work? Has his body changed by not playing regularly? He just doesn’t look very convincing. Even v qpr, there was one cross he took second half and it was just odd and very unorthodox. Honestly I’ve thought he’s exactly what we need for 3 years now but I’ve been massively underwhelmed by him. The goal today, doesn’t beat a competent keeper. I couldn’t believe what I was watching

The club were after Iverson for 2 to 3 seasons, not a Schumacher signing to be fair. Obviously Neil wanted him and his mate Ricky got him.
