Will be buzzing before kick off and early doors, 12th man and all that, but god forbid we go down, could turn toxic very quickly.

Pre match, lots of people posting today’s team selection was as good as it gets, so not sure where we go from here.

I’d love to think it will be bouncing pre-match.
But I think the reality is it will be a poor turnout, attended by a crowd largely resigned to relegation.

We are in a relegation battle. The fans need to turn up and be vocal, otherwise, what’s the points. Nice to have something to play for for once😉

Can’t see us beating them despite Plymouth beating them today. Could turn nasty quite quickly in my opinion. We sort of accept not being very good, but not being in the bottom 3.

Why should the fans turn up . When the team dont Really though we all want us to stay up. I’m no “happy clapper” and I don’t go but if we want to stay up those hardy souls need to turn up and get fully behind the team. No other club just gives up do they?

It’s the product of 7/8 years of dogshit. It’s down to the lazy arse millionaires now to earn their wages, and if they don’t, they’ll earn them anyway. We’ll support em no matter the division , but no1s getting behind a team that doesn’t show anything.

Will be buzzing before kick off and early doors, 12th man and all that, but god forbid we go down, could turn toxic very quickly. They absolutely won’t be buzzing. They should as that’s probably the only thing that will get us out of relegation. But instead it will be a half hearted we’ll be with you. Followed by intermittent bouts of Goarn stoke. With a broken up Delilah and when the reds go marching from the boothen and the south end. Whilst the middle try and decide who to sing with before spluttering in to silence until a players throws there arms up trying to gee up the crowd (because they need support and the 12th man) they will get a big roar of come on. Before we sit in silence again for another 10-15 mins

sadly i think apathy has well and truly set in, it will be flat as a pancake about 11 seconds after we finish the singalong to well be with you, ironically

Why would anyone be buzzing?
We're going down, everyone knows we're going down, and we'll inevitably lose again without scoring a goal.
No one can even be arsed to make it toxic. Everyone has understandably given up hope.

The stadium will be full of apathy, no anger, no tension, no optimism just pure apathy.
I will question why I'm bothering going along with my dad, we will then spend the next 90 minutes mocking the team, the manager, the opposition as will all those around us. Then inevitably we will concede, we will sigh, we will then get back to chatting as a collective.
Final whistle will come, we will all turn to each other and say see you next game.
We will walk back tot he car, listen to someone barely able to complete a structured sentence on praise and grumble and swear we wont get another season ticket next season. Rinse and repeat over the last handful of years.

Raucous, sustained booing for 90 minutes, even continuing through half time.
Stopping only to call John Coates a self-pleasurer.

Like many others I really have little enthusiasm left. Every week I start with optimism and hope to eventually end with disappointment that is rapidly deteriorating into apathy.
Will I attend next week? Probably but ot looking forward to it.

I pretty much dread going to matches these days. I've been a supporter for 49 years and can never remember such a sustained period of continual hopelessness both on and off the pitch.
I'll keep going for now, and I'll probably get a season ticket next season, even if the once seemingly unthinkable happens. But it's starting to defy commonsense for me to carry on doing it with practically nothing positive in return for my outlay.
I hate thinking this way. I love Stoke. It's the club that maintained the bond between me and my dad while he was with us. It's more than just a leisure/entertainment pasttime. But everyone has their limits. Mine are being sorely tested.

I can relate to all of this…about 50 years or so for me too…but I just don’t look forward to the matches any more…I’ll renew next season no matter what then I’ll go and get my metal health checked.

I completely relate to this mate, though mine is just about still with us. It’s a real battle as going to the match is just about the only time he leaves the house these days and he’s had enough of the shite being served up. At the other end of the spectrum, I’m also trying to get my lads addicted so it’ll glue us together as well, and I’ll end up in a marginally better nursing home than otherwise 😁, but they are bored to fuck. We have been worse, and I’ve witnessed it, but it’s never, ever been so utterly joyless as this - it’s sucked the anger out of us all.

Fair play to anyone still going.
Even if I still had my season ticket, I don't think I'd bother.
A complete and utter waste of time.
