Do people really think the players would buy into Pulis, they dont seem to want to work hard under Schumacher so god knows what would happen under Pulis lets work hard, and by the way Shawcross's tackle was not a bad tackle at all so again Pulis choices to have a dig at him like the last time they had a falling out. Ramseys leg was broken before Shawcross tackled him due to it getting stuck in the pitch.

I'd would love to ask him why he played a weakened team in Valencia, that was the beginning of the end for him in my eyes. I lost all respect for him after that. No need. TP felt we could still go down that season and rested key players eg Crouch for the forthcoming two home games. We won both and stayed up comfortably. We met Radio Stoke correspondent on the beach in Valencia while getting over a hangover from night before and he confirmed this.

Has everyone already forgotten that Schumacher has openly stated already he's leant on other managers for advice. Southgate and Ange being two of them I know Ange is good as a match summariser but quite sure SS wouldn't approach her to discuss tactics for the forthcoming match 😉🤣 She's just another spectator who also happens to have access to a microphone to moan into. If she also gets in for free, I assume she does, then she has less to moan about than the rest of us.

Would have him back as director of football! When he was here he looked after everything even once was called Peter Coates because the grounds man at the training ground weren’t working hard enough! He doesn’t want to manage anymore so no threat to SS, but would I still a work ethic throughout the club and insist on the right characters! This for me is more ideal as a director of football than a manager these days!!!

I agree. I love the man to death, but why can't we just let him be the legend that he is? Why would we want to risk that? If he came here, nothing changed, and we parted on bad terms, that would have been heartbreaking. No, let TP sit up there with Waddo and Lou as the holy trinity of Stoke City managers. We need our legends more than we need some advice that SS may or may not heed. Schuey played under Moyes, right? (although as a kid). Let him ask him instead. Moyes would be a cracking DoF, but out of our league, MON is a better choice. Plus MON has the ultimate argument: "knows the club"! I don't think TP does anymore, too many years have passed. This is TP's spiritual football home I'm sure of it and you're right, what if he couldn't prevent relegation? Well, it certainly wouldn't tarnish his achievements in my eyes and as I keep saying, not coming in to replace SS but to mentor. I think his presence around the place would be an influence on its own frankly. Problem is, he probably doesn't want to return...however Tone, you know it makes sense! Clearly on a wind- up so fair play.

By the way the weakened team did us proud and came close to pulling it off, can you imagine Pulis head if they had he would have said it was intentional. Have People forgot the pulis who came down to Stoke with West brom.

Could you imagine anything more condescending or patronising to Schumacher than bringing a retired former manager to advise him? Honestly what planet do people live on? He’d walk out the door on the spot and rightly so. So, managers have never asked for advice from more experienced managers then? The planet I live on is the one where I wouldn't want to be left high and dry in a situation that I couldn't cope with or sort out on my own..which SS quite clearly can't! Not his fault, I'll say it again, he was the wrong man for this job at this time. This is such a crucial time in this Club's history, it's not just about relegation to League one it's about what that could mean for the Club as a whole. I would hope that if someone was brought in to assist it would be done sensitively. If SS chose to leave it would say a lot about him I know that! You at work. Boss, “look i know you have only been here for a few weeks but you’re a bit shit so we are going to get one of our former managers to come in and ‘advise’ you on how to do the job properly” You, “ oh thanks chairman, i really appreciate that you have recognised in such a short time how utterly wank you think i am and that you have got someone in to ‘help’ me” Any other fookr but you, “ tell you what chairman, if i’m so wank and he’s so fookn good, give him the fookn job, see ya”

Humour me, SS or Pulis for tomorrow's game. Who would you choose? Why do you think some of these players would turn up for Pulis when they haven’t turned up for Neil or Schumacher? They’re the problem, Pulis coming in and putting the nut on a few of them in his towel isn’t going to fix the issue - if anything they’ll just switch off even more.

He certainly didn't look after everything, Tony Scholes was Chief Executive at that time and kept Pulis on as short a leash as possible. I'm pretty sure that TP himself admitted that he had to go to P Coates behind Scholes back, if he really wanted something.

No one is really having a pop are they, just calling out the silliness of wanting him to come back every time our backs are up against the wall. It's dull and boring, it pollutes the message board and it probably won't stop until a certain age group who witnessed his era die out.

I wonder if the Pulis mafia are like this in day to day life.
Missus burns the tea? Fucking get Pulis in he’d get Carl Asaba on the chopping.
Kid fails an exam? Replace them, get Pulis in he works ‘aaaard.
Car breaks down? Replace it with Pulis he will find you a willing runner.

By the way he got lucky on the last day that we beat reading otherwise we where down. And yes it was a great time out there but lets no forget what fans said once that team sheet went up

Stokief...... Is it time to reopen the bar? used to be dixoga (the jinx) now I'm just Grumpy Wotcha Dixo ! I don't know about Grumpy, I'm feckin' LIVID! Can you imagine the bar nowadays after all we've been through?! The Stokief matchday cocktails wouldn't hit the spot now.. it'd be nothing but hard liquor! Mind, Staffsoatcake's probably still wearing those lucky pants in vague hope (probably still on his head) I may have to re-open if we drop down. We'll be back to where we started on here without about 35 of us left moaning each week Health & safety wouldn't let her open again, not after they found my underwear in the oven drying off.😋

What’s laughable is that the closest we get to playing in Europe or The Premier team is a pre season tour in Europe and a friendly against a BIG Prem team…..League 1 here we come and some brainless simpleton's are chastising a guy (and chatting absolute shit) who saved us from League 1, got us to the Prem, kept us there comfortably, amazing cup run’s, gave us spine tingling moments, a cup final etc…..We won’t witness anything close to it for a very very long time. (I sincerely hope I’m wrong)
