Thought we’d signed someone who had grit, tactical nous and ability on the ball. He’s looking more and more like a Sunday league player every time he plays. Slow, shit control, can’t pass to save his life and positionally woeful.

Can’t really single out players from today. They were all absolutely shit.

Same I thought he laid the foundations for the type of players we should be going after and would set the bar for attitude and grit. I can’t think of a single good performance from him this season.

I'm no fan of Pearson but unless he's was injured you have to feel hookig him at half time will do more harm than good as he was no worse than the others and going with cundle second half just made it miles worse
You can see why some of the players will feel the manager doesn't have the gravitas

He’s forged himself a good career being a limited footballer through hard work and dedication….i fear it’s caught up with him.

Twice today we lost the ball off a throw in where the ball was thrown to him and he couldn't even play a return pass to them
Unfortunately a shadow of what he was

Confidence! His confidence is shot. Let’s not forget 90% of the fanbase were delighted when he signed. We can’t re-write history.

He was always a championship player, he played a little bit for Bournemouth in the top flight but there's a reason most of his career has been at Preston. #

There must have been some good players at Preston who did all the running for him. He looks lost here.

I still don't know what Pearson's role was and I think that was probably because he didn't carry it out.

Pearson did Something just before the kick-off against Swansea. It was the game after Alex Neil got the sack. I'm not sure if many noticed it. However I thought straight away he was sending a message out too certain players in the side who had thrown the towel in on AN.
I might be miles off, and for that reason I won't say what it was. However he's not done it since

Pearson, great as a loan player, and then like most players we have had on loan over the years he switched off when the full time contract was signed.

Looks overweight to me, noticed it a few weeks ago when he was lined up in the tunnel, quite embarrassing tbh. Might be petty and totally off but those videos the official media folk put out, each and everyone of them he pops up trying to look like the world’s biggest bell end. Just cannot see what he brings right now to our club. Another disaster signing.

Agree. I thought he was okay and way more useful than Cundle Cundle was our best midfielder today especially going forward. I still don't know what Pearson's role was and I think that was probably because he didn't carry it out. Sorry but Burger was our best midfielder by a country mile despite not having a great game and also being up against the referee Harry Winks. Cundle wasn't bad but they were both head and shoulders better than Pearson who was simply shocking. I can't believe I was ecstatic when we signed him thinking we had at last got that player who controlled the team and made it tick. How wrong I was. I would rather we play Sidibe and accept he's a young lad and will make mistakes. At least he's on the upward curve and might learn and improve.

He reminds me of that scene in Marvellous when Toby Jones is just running backwards and forwards and nowhere near the play
How he started today is beyond me. Lazy attempted flicks and he was so bad today he couldn't get close enough to trip someone

I would rather we play Sidibe and accept he's a young lad and will make mistakes. At least he's on the upward curve and might learn and improve. I thought Burger had his worst game for a long time today and part of the reason was that Pearson was deeper than him. Burger gave everything but his passes just didn't come off. He had a better second half with Pearson out of the way and Bae working the left wing but I thought Cundle covered an immense amount of ground and was the player driving us forward and finding pockets of space. If anyone was going to create something it was him.

There’s a relegation battle about to begin.
We will need him to find his form.
It’s either him or Josh because there’s no other options next to Burger in an aggressive midfield.

Said it before a ball was kicked, "we'd be run through with him selected" It was so bad he was listed to sub before HT! Fucking abysmal player obvious decline. He got his contract is overweight and worthless in front of Wilmot and Rose today. Makes Gayle's time here look worth something if that's even possible.

He’s made Laurent look like Vieira this season. No idea how we won any games at all before Burger got going because the midfield was a shit state. If Vidigal and Mmaae didn’t start the season fairly well we’d be in an even worse state.
