Abdoulaye Faye, Robert Huth , Captain Fantastic and Sorensen. Abdoulaye would look at the rock and it would carve itself. Remember that thread?

Freddie Steele - record goal scorer, highest in the 1st division, played for England, scoring more than 1 goal per match.
Neil Franklin - England's greatest centre half - only player who was consistently selected by England selectors post WWII.
Stan Matthews - Icon of the game. "He taught the world how the game should be played" said Pele. His return transformed Stoke's fortunes.
Gordon Banks - Icon of the game. England's greatest goalkeeper. Got Stoke to League Cup final with some tremendous saves.
Reserve: George Eastham - played for England, in world Cup winning squad, changed the transfer system by sticking to his guns, scored the winning goal for Stoke's only major trophy win.
We've had many talented players and great servants for the club, but surely to qualify you need to have consistently played for England and made a major achievement.
Maybe if England and Stoke win nothing for another 50 years, people will realise how great some of those past players were.
