Fantastic again today, big fan of him and he’s definitely got a good future ahead of him! Heard a few comments from people over the last couple of games saying he’s been poor which I disagree with, he’s been one of our bright sparks if anything👍

I’ve got big hopes for the lad and tbh I’d be getting Jared to find him a mate

He's adjusting well to the league, at the start his defensive positioning was awful and the reason Johnson was selected ahead of him. He's picked that side of the game up really quickly, which just further shows his talents.
Way better as a CAM than out wide. He is very good in the short distance game, relying upon his quick reaction speeds, agility, balance and the gentle redirection passes he does. This makes him a really good link player for Mmaee especially.
At this point, my only concern I've got is how good is he at striking a ball because I've not see him do it (not because he has shown he cant).

He had a very enthusiastic fan sitting behind the dugouts. All the folk sitting around gave him a cheer when he spotted her little banner and gave her a wave.

He's not a wide player, but we had very few options out there today.
Needs to be in the No.10 role as he's not got the turn of pace to play on the flank.

Different class today, mind might be playing tricks on me but he bullied the RCB (Clarke?) so much in the first 10-15, they put Tuanzebe out there which hindered him abit but still had enough to skin him on multiple occasions.
Not a wide player but currently our best option out there I think. The cross he put in was perfect and just needed someone/anyone to get a touch and his skill in the build up was sublime.
Build the team around Junior Burger Bae Mmaee
And maybe we will get out of this god forsaken league.

That touch where he took it down out the sky from a junior Cross field ball 🤤🤤
Has all the makings of an Emi Buendia when he was at Norwich.
Talent, work rate, 👏 shut up and take my money.

Sometimes he needs to make the simple pass instead, he's lost possession a few times the last couple games which has been frustrating, if baker had played the same he would get slagged off (baker I thought played well today) he'll come good tho

Any player should be able to play the simple pass. Junho plays, or tries to play the kind of pass others don't even dream about.

It was a good contest as we know Tuanzebe just can't play many games but he's absolutely quality at this level Junho got the better of him a couple of times against lesser Championship defenders (&that's pretty much all the others) he's going to be dominant

Support him, Build him up, train him up. Flog him to Spoz as Son's understudy on a multi-million dollar contract in a year or two. Bout time we start getting them BACK on a couple of these deals...
In the meantime, enjoy.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-bae-junho-thompson-9043954“He's a bit different because he can play anywhere,” said the head coach. “He could play in the wide positions, he can play as an eight. I wouldn't see him as being a holding midfield player – and not left-back just yet! – but he’s talented, he’s got real quality and good energy as well and he can go past people. “I’ve been speaking to Junho and trying to get the message across to him about being a bit more clinical, making the right pass in the final third because that’s all he’s missing in his game, one or two goals or assists, but that will come. We forget he’s still such a young player.” “He's great. He's always smiling. I’m not too sure he always understands me fully but you can pull him to one side and show him differently, go through video clips and information on the tactics board if we can. He’s great.”

Genuine question: did Alex Neil ever have a positive thing to say about anybody?
Maybe when he's on the defence and trying to justify signings like Daniel Johnson etc.
Brilliant words from Schuey. Seems like a top man.
