I do of course wish Schumacher the best of luck and hope he brings success to the club.
However, i've just got this nagging feeling that maybe we should've gone for John. He just seems to fit the club for me, and I think he desperately wanted the job and to do well for us.
Time will tell, but best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

It's absolutely nothing to do with him being an ex players and everything to do with him turning round a team in immediate danger of relegation into one that isn't. And it's isn't just the 10 games this season - it's the trajectory of his team since he took over. People seem to be ignoring we are a team in real danger of relegation and getting a manager in with a recent record of avoiding relegation is a massive plus. You might not want Eustace - which is fine - but claiming he hasn't got a recent track that makes him a prime candidate for a team in our situation is bollocks. Unless of course you don't actually believe relegation is a genuine possibility - which it is. It’s opinion. Yours is no more valid than mine. You don’t see me yelling “bollocks” though If avoiding relegation is the best we can hope for we may as well have stuck with Neil. Think he might be having a little pragmatic tantrum. That’s what happens when you give them their own way all the time.
