I always thought Tony Hart was a terrible director. Maybe he was before his time casting the brown one as the lead🤷🏻♂️

I Lways thought Chas ruined Chas n Dave, or Dave as they're now known Chas ruined Morph too. The uppity grey cunt. I remember commenting on how pale Chas was looking when with Morph. Was no surprise when the news came in I remember seeing a vintage music poster for sale years ago, I think was from Glastonbury or ond of those other festivals have no interest in. Was Led Zeppelin with special guests Chas N Dave Stuck with me as just thought what an odd combination

Scrappy Doo Ruined a perfectly good TV show I Lways thought Chas ruined Chas n Dave, or Dave as they're now known I'll have you know that Chas had a fair bit of musical acumen, for example he provided the bassline used for the sample in eminem's "my name is". He was also in a band called heads hands and feet who are truly great rockabilly pych band, if that happens to be your bag! Ain't no pleasing some folk though I suppose

Was a serious session musician I wouldn't put Gertcha and Rabbit up there with great songs of the era though. Maybe you would, fair enough. Ain't no pleasing you

Good decision.
As we keep losing goalies all the time .
Where and who is Fielding ?
Prevents us being liable to teams like Bornmuff calling back Travers.

Has anyone heard him speak before? It’s bad enough reading his posts without hearing his voice! Oh you mean Bonham? No I haven’t

A bit of good form and gets a new extension to contract. He’s an abject keeper be in no doubt. Lose a bit of form and we’ll be screaming for his removal. Unless it’s a financial decision it’s an awful one. Need two new keepers.

Unless it’s a financial decision it’s an awful one. Need two new keepers. Bonham is an excellent keeper for this dire league . Always has been . Unless you would like Bursik ? Or perhaps Butland ( post injury ) or Sarkic Gunn was dire too when he played for us . Bonham is way better than those keepers and has set a record for minutes without conceding. Support the lad . Agenda driven critics on here create such negative garbage

Media team working overtime. Such a massive improvement. Did they change staff, if so it’s most definitely for the better.
Jack comes across as very humble and honest in that.

Why Jack gets so much stick baffles me. He's a competent 'keeper in this league even if he's not Prem quality.
OS.

Such fantastic work by the content team, am loving these interviews and behind the scenes bits and pieces. Jack comes across excellently here, smart articulate and humble, seemingly a really lovely guy. Following his recent excellent run of games, stepping in and stepping up, he deserves nothing less than our full support

No other team in this league would have him as their goalkeeper. He’s one of the worst keepers we’ve had this century. To top it all of he’s been rewarded with a new contract because he kept 3 clean sheets and a portion of the fan base have a weird attraction to him (plus he’s one of the few players who have a song.) Cult hero…my arse!

This whole episode sums up how short sighted the Stoke hierarchy and fans are.
There’s no looking passed the end of your nose. He had a few ok to good games and his name was being sung so let’s get a short term win to please people.
Absolutely fucking pathetic.

That’s because fans could see that he was going to be our first choice keeper until January at least due to circumstances and they were simply getting behind him. No one really rates him, the chanting is tongue in cheek and a bit of a piss take truth be told. It seems apparent to me, after spewing 24 hours of pure bile on this board prior to the Middlesbrough game, that you’ve simply been waiting for him to make an error. Yesterday changes nothing, he’s a bog standard second choice/squad filler Championship goalkeeper on a similar level to his peers at the other second tier clubs.

Bonham wasn’t the problem yesterday Yes he’s gash no we shouldn’t have given him a new contract I would like to ask Neil why didn’t you sign a permanent goalkeeper in the summer so we wouldn’t have had to use bonham unless an injury occurred.
All down to neil is this shit

He is going to be our first choice goal keeper until January so it is a given that people were going to try and rally around him. Even if some of that is tongue in cheek. He has been solid enough since Travers returned to Bournemouth. The game yesterday was lost well before his error and there were ten players in front of him that are far more worthy of critique. However, the decision to offer him a new contract is strange. First, because AN clearly feels that he is not good enough to be first choice (he keeps signing goalkeepers to play ahead of Bonham). Second, because even Bonham will be aware that the first thing we do in January is to bring in a new goalkeeper (so he is essentially signing a contract to be second choice).

I agree with your comments with the exception of the game being lost by the time he fucked up. We were 1-0 down (admittedly deservedly and looking clueless) but could have nicked something. The error was truly shocking. It ended the game there and then. He'd also fucked up twice in the first half, the first time running out to give the forward a relatively simple lobbed finish and being caught taking too long on a clearance which was charged down. He got lucky with both of those mistakes. I have no personal animosity towards him but he is a terrible keeper who wouldn't play for, or probably be, second choice for any other championship side.
