They have a system and stuck with it. I think the difference is, they've signed players to play that way, we've signed players and looking for a way to play them. I do understand where you're coming from on the face of it but I don't believe for one second we've recruited just anyone without a plan. As manager try explaining that to Jon Coates early summer after bringing in Dublin, it's not happening in reality is it. Unless all the media talk is pure bluff, which in reality, it isn't is it. However I do believe that's exactly what we have done in the past Was certainly a plan but think we overloaded in certain areas and ignored others, well not ignored, didn't get the players we wanted and maybe left it too late. We're not playing all the new players as a unit and our best player this season has been a new recruit. The early subs are a good indication that whatever we've done during the week goes out the window early in games and perhaps we don't know much re the opposition's style and Hull keep their shape and play to what they know. No chopping and changing, even when under the cosh v Leeds. It almost appeared like we didn't know what to expect from Ipswich or Preston etc We set up the same with the same outcome, Millwall also

The silliest arguments are the ridiculous ones doubting the future of AN or the Coates family. As I was leaving on Sunday I overheard a conversation crossing the bridge between two guys debating what would happen when Peter passed away . One was adamant that the club would be sold . The other was of the same view but not in the immediate aftermath of his parting. It would be disrespectful to his memory was the point he made . My personal view is that Denise would not sell I think you're right. Not that she cares one bit about the success or failure of the football team. But scfc is an important part of the community, and she would like her family's legacy to be as one that took responsibility for that community culture, and in time, history.

The silliest arguments are the ridiculous ones doubting the future of AN or the Coates family. It is hard not to doubt AN considering he oversaw the worst home record in 20 years last season, won one out of his last 10 games, and has started this season in exactly the same poor fashion. It would be ridiculous not to be concerned by his current record (which is worse for points per game in the league than Nathan Jones).
