Seems even tougher than normal this year to work out which tiers most of that middle splodge of 17-18 teams will be in, not that it ever works out that way. I've gone for an optimistic, but still agonising, 7th even though you could have put us anywhere.
1 Leicester 2 Southampton 3 Leeds 4 Boro 5 Sunderland 6 Cov 7 Stoke 8 Ipswich 9 Millwall 10 Bristol City 11 West Brom 12 Swansea 13 Birmingham 14 Norwich 15 Watford 16 Cardiff 17 Hull 18 Preston 19 Plymouth 20 Blackburn 21 Huddersfield 22 Rotherham 23 Sheff Weds 24 QPR

Somewhere between 8th and 12th. A dalliance with the play offs in mid season and then fading away toward the end. Or something like that.

Saw a prediction on YouTube yesterday having us down for 5th place. I don't like people fancying us tbh, feels odd.

Think Watford might go down They’re definitely an option for a surprise contender to go down aren’t they? Pedro and Sarr sold. Jake Livermore and Tom Ince signed with no more major signings in the horizon with the owner apparently focusing on balancing the books this year.

We will linger around mid table till the new year then storm the play off positions before finishing 2nd behind Boro.

We are going into this season as complete unknowns, anything could happen. We seem to have a fairly solid spine so should have a decent season overall. It will all depend on how good we are at set pieces, if we have the ability to score a few from free kicks and corners we should be in with a shout for at least top 6. We look like a team that will score more from open play so it could be a really exciting season.

Can't say I've ever been arsed about Watford either way before but their treatment of managers merits a little schadenfreude. Seeing Rob Edwards take their local rivals above them must sting too

Winners: Leicester City Runners-up: Southampton Play-offs: Middlesbrough, Stoke, Millwall and Bristol City. Relegated: Plymouth, Hull and Cardiff. Sunday Express said we'll languish in mid table in another disappointing season. Mind you that was days before we signed half of the worlds available players! Surprised it's got room for any material that isn't about Harry and Meghan or whatever frock Kate's wearing

Barring the usual injuries to key players, I reckon we'll finish between 1st and 9th.

I thought this was the best in-depth squad analysis review of the championship I've seen so far, and he has taken us as his dark horse gamble for the play-offs, I'll settle for that!

Well we have brought in the numbers and credit the recruitment for that. However I don't see a huge amount of quality as yet although the 'unknowns' might surprise me. Not sure about the defence and the midfield looks very ordinary. So at the moment.....
Leicester Leeds Middlesboro Southampton Coventry Bristol City Norwich Sunderland Swansea Millwall Birmingham Ipswich Watford West Brom Stoke Preston Blackburn Hull Plymouth Huddersfield Rotherham QPR Cardiff Sheff Weds
All three relegated teams will finish top six (the average finish place for Prem relegated teams is 8th). Another stat...only one of the relegated teams since we came down have failed to go back up or reach the playoffs....SCFC.

Just looked it up, American takeover. Ipswich are bollocks. They’ve been promoted and recruited no one of note Once again The Oracle has spoken...
