Interestingly, the NTT20 lads had Ipswich 3rd?! Four Four Two had them fifth as well. Could see them being up there. I don’t know what people are basing this on, their team is full of players who have played in this division before and didn’t pull up any trees. I’ve seen another podcast rating their manager as the best in the league, it’s all slightly odd. Think they’ll comfortably stay up but no where near challenging or even play offs.

Tbf isn't that what people were saying about Sunderland last year? I think it's based on them having a highly rated manager and some money to spend, in addition to a crop of exciting young players. Have got no problem believing they could finish literally anywhere in the top half.

Good analysis on the 2nd tier podcast who have us mid table.
Which I think is fair.
When you objectively analyse our squad and new signings, a lot of them are unknowns and not necessarily players who I’d be disappointed if other teams signed.

That’s where I reckon Ipswich would likely finish too.

I think Blackburn may be a surprise relegation candidate. Them almost making the playoffs was a massive xG anomaly, they were bottom six on xG. So it'll be interesting to see.

I don’t fancy Southampton at all. Leicester and Middlesbrough automatic for me. With around 12 clubs battling for playoffs into the last 6 games. Would love to see Cardiff and Swansea go down but doubt it’ll happen. Welsh twats! As for us it could be anything from 3rd to 21st🤷🏻♂️

Winners: Leicester City Runners-up: Southampton Play-offs: Middlesbrough, Stoke, Millwall and Bristol City. Relegated: Plymouth, Hull and Cardiff. Not sure about that list. Really hard one to call as Champo is always full of surprises. Think Sheff Weds & Rotherham may end up inside the bottom 3. Not sure about Leicester & Southampton being top two either. Something making me think Ipswich may be competing somewhere there or there abouts as a surprise package in the play offs. Think Boro may be in the top two and Leeds somewhere around the play offs aswell!

Fancy Boro to go up .
Decent squad to begin with, added to it early in the transfer window.
Expect them to start the season strongly and keep going.

Definitely on a roll aren't they, great progressive manager who is tipped for a big future & possible future Man Utd manager at some stage. Wealthy owners aswell as a large fan base who are starved of success & can feel the good times coming again. Going to be a tough away match for us as sure there will be a carnival type atmosphere for them. If we can hold our nerve & especially and escape there with some kind of result may be a good chance to play them at Portman Road before they get settled into their stride.

surprised Leeds are not in the top 6 mix according to the Super Computer. Despite their season they still have a number of quality players. Gnonto, Summerville, Rutter, Bamford, Ayling, Cooper, Firpo, James and Tyler Adams would get in nearly every side in the championship and whilst a few will probably go, not all will. Plus a few back from loans such as Drameh, Gelhardt and Poveda. A good start for them and they will be right up there

It clearly isn't a super commuter as it hasn't got us down as winners. I'd go with pretty good computer - certainly way better than the ones we've had in the last few years.

Is this super computer ever right? Well it's right in one way - successful click bait I guess... It may have a decent record of picking the winner, but below that...not so sure. And for God's sake! Please oddsmakers, quit making us any type of "favorites" for anything. (Not that they are THIS year but I remember our first season after relegation and their line of horse crap)

I'd be surprised if they went down. The club is buzzing, the city is buzzing, season tickets sold out and sell outs every week. They have momentum. The opposite of Rotherham, Cardiff, QPR, Hull and Preston who are all more likely to go down. Where did the super computer have Luton finishing last season? BM

Sunday Express said we'll languish in mid table in another disappointing season. Mind you that was days before we signed half of the worlds available players!
