Any news on what has been the issue? I know he was coming back from a long term back injury, but has his absence been that, or has it been other things. Mindful the back has an impact on so many other parts of the body, just interested in what the breakdown of injuries has been as little seems to have been reported. If it’s still his back we have to steer clear, if it’s associated muscles and tweaks it can take a while for the body to re map and adjust. Even if it’s the latter, could only ever be a pay as you play. I just hope the club aren’t putting all the eggs in this basket.

Our business in January was superb. Just because we’ve lost a few dead rubbers is no need for desperation. Good one……. It was. We took a calculated gamble to create maximum resources and space for the summer and it paid off

If we can do a deal on reasonable wages, maybe with a bonus if he starts a game, he's well worth it.

Given the far superior medical facilities at his disposal at Manchester United if they can’t fix him no chance we can I’d say.
Shame really as he’s class.

It doesn't matter how good he is if he's never fit.

Good job he wasn’t in Wilmot’s position when he got injured probably would have finished his career.

Tuanzebe, Powell, Clucas, etc.
Easiest job in the world these lot.
Get rid, the lot of them.

Missed the end of season awards - did he win the Hide and Seek Trophy? He sat behind the dugouts for the whole game.

I would offer him a low basic plus pay as you play type deal. I wonder if the shit and indeed Axel would accept an offer of a full pre season with us with a view to a season loan if he stays injury free. I’m not sure if things work like that but still

They can't play football though. They're always injured. On-field playing staff are employed to be footballers. They never play football. Get rid. Honestly.

We replaced our best player and best centre half with someone who has played twice in 3 months. Sums the club up. Not a facetious reply, I've genuinely forgotten which player that you're referring to?

Axel might be a decent player but we have to get rid of all they players who are bleeding the club dry by been injured for most of the season,we should not be signing these type of players

I honestly think he is work a 12 month contract, low basic with bonuses based on appearances. See if he can get fit in pre season.

If he is then somebody somewhere will take a gamble on him with probable terms you have suggested. If he is going to get his career back on track we could be a very feasible vehicle.

I’m not sure if things work like that but still His contract with Man U is up at the end of the month. So he’ll be a free agent, that’s a tricky one then. We’d have to have something set in stone to secure his immediate future. He’s clearly way better than anything else we have but do we just need to sign half the player who’s got a good fitness record to get out of this league instead? If indeed one exists

Would be interesting to get some accurate information as to what Tuanzebe's injury is and how long he's likely to be out for. When he has managed to get on the pitch this season he's been superb and if there was a deal to be made which makes both parties happy I'd like to see him again next year.

IF he has agreed to sign, as someone has suggested, maybe we're playing the long game and letting him sit the rest of this season out to get himself right in readiness for the start of the next?
