Both possibly out for the season I think I saw or heard somewhere. Tezgel quad and Lowe back That's a real shame as both would have had chances to play as we see the season out Bloody typical and, yes, it's a shame.

Anyone any idea on Tezgal and Lowe's injuries - probably mentioned somewhere but I have missed it. Both possibly out for the season I think I saw or heard somewhere. Tezgel quad and Lowe back Growing pains, stresses of full time training? Concerning...

Not sure why Powell is getting so much stick. Hope he plays to his potential today. It's just because he's a product of Crewe's academy, its very small minded.

At least it hopefully means Neil can see that neither Campbell nor and especially Brown can lead the line. Both happier playing off a target man and/or wide They've got one today in Powell. For me, its his best position as it makes the most out of his aerial ability.

Hope Powell scores and shuts the doubters up 🤫 Wouldn't you rather he scores and wins us the game?

Will probably go off injured in the 70th minute and that'll be him done for the season 70th? You mean 7th!

That has to one of the strongest midfield and forward line we've fielded for some time. A fit Powell (and on form) would always be ahead of Jacob Brown in the line up. I quite like the idea of Powell and Pearson in the team, both highly adept at the dark arts and general shithousery at this level.

Tuanzebe is a massive miss today for me especially up against Gyokeres Huge miss, Gyokeres is probably the best striker in the league. Hopefully Jags can pull out one of his better performances now he hasn’t played for a few weeks. Think playing every week or even every 3 days at points was starting to get to him.

Powell bingo. Lies on floor Flicks ball to opponent Goes off injured. But he will also do something no one else in this division is capable of. and when was the last time he did that.

We didn't really rely on a target man so he wasn't all that involved but he did his job well for me today.
Was the correct choice sticking him up top so every other position had the right player.

Agreed. He didn’t really get involved in any of the goals but he was decent. Lasted longer than I expected to. Don’t know expect him to last the season though and would prefer that he leaves.

How did he do with the way we play we now? He looked like he does when he's been out for a while, things not quite coming off for him One sublime dummy after the first goal Kept his centre back busy enough but not a star performance from him Knowing Powell he will be better next game and will score soon enough Hackett is right some supporters can't get over his Crewe background The obvious issue is his injury record A heavily structured appearance related deal is on the cards whoever he signs for so why not here As with Tuanzebe if AN treats them as bonus players that should work over the course of a season Can't afford a squad full of crocks but would keep both these two if we can

Sort of false 9 in this team suits him down to the ground, with Brown and Campbell running past him.

How did he do with the way we play now? We were so good that we didn't use him as a major outlet. He tried a few of his usual flare passes/flicks but none really worked that I remember. Brown's control was loads better today so we were much more balanced with threats down both sides. Powell played his role as a cog in the machine. Strong and skilled enough to hold the ball under pressure, then always looking for the forward option. Kept us ticking when called upon, but not really a major CF threat. Pressed well first half too. EDIT: agree with tommycarlsberg, he was mostly a false 9 today
