I love teasing Bayern as much as the next but I've shared his complaints that when things are static he often gets drawn too far back for me. That goal was a perfect example of when him going deeper pays off though! EDIT: sometimes he stays back for ages passing back and forth with midfielders when the moment is gone. I also get where he is coming from, Kane dropping deep can be frustrating sometimes, but it's his game, he does it for Spurs and will continue to do it wherever he ends up next if he leaves. My problem lies with his viewpoint that England would be and would have been a better team without him. Funny that when I asked him yesterday who he would have picked in his place around 5 years ago he didn't come.back with an answer. I haven’t said we have been. No one will try it and are happy with wasting another potentially great side. That’s the annoying thing! I didn’t answer because I can’t remember who was around then. It would have still probably been Rashford tbf.

Just saw replay of Saka's cross and what a beaut it was.
Over the first defenders and dropped just right at the far post where it's a nightmare for the last defender to deal with.

Winning nothing whilst celebrating a poor manager and a bloke who is obsessed with his personal goals and not the teams.

When fit Rashford should be playing on the left, maybe in a couple of years he’ll be better through the middle and with Saka seemingly indispensable on the right that leaves Foden out in the cold. Seems crazy but that’s just how it is. He’s young enough to bide his time though and will have a fantastic international career I’m sure

Also, who the fuck is celebrating the manager, again, making shit up.

But switching with Saka and Rashford. Just think it’d be great to watch. Foden is still probably about the best naturally gifted footballer we have, Bellingham is closing fast though. He has to play.

Should have Ah orate mate. Yes. Croatia were poor. The final at least should have been reached. France would have been tough for sure but we’re a match for them. Southgate is a failure. We were a match for France in 2018?

Foden didn’t start the last England game he was fit for. Oh sorry I thought you were talking about Bellingham🤣🤦🏻♂️ He doesn’t have to start every game at all (Foden I mean). Kind of puts me in mind of the most naturally gifted English footballer I’ve seen in my life time, Matt Le Tissier, awesome talent but no manager could find a way of fitting him into their system, I fear Foden is treading a similar path. He’s not really a wide player as such and we don’t play with a number 10 so unfortunately he’s not going to be a regular and so long as we keep winning games I couldn’t care less. What a sub to bring on though

Anyone would think that all the top strikers in world football since football began would be that way, perhaps because they are. The more you talk, the more shit comes out of your mouth.

Anyway. If anyone else has had enough of the Bayernoatcake 'narcissists are us'thread lets get back to the England v Ukraine game. Bellingham is an absolute monster and will be an absolute world superstar for the next 10 years. Build the team round him. If I were one of the big 4 English teams I'd break the bank to get him. Oh and by the way Chilwell is wank. Tymon is better.
