Difficult choice. In reality I don't think we have a chance of signing Axel so for me it's Pearson and Smallpiece. Those two have really transformed our midfield and I think that has been the main factor in our much improved play.

Pearson and Axel, Pearson pretty much covers for everyone and Axel is the calm you need at the back.

The biggest impacts on our squad have been sarkic and Pearson. So those two for me

These are the two that I've been told will be made permanent. Source has a 95% hit rate too.

I'd be happy with Pearson and any of the others.

Pearson is an absolute must! He totally drives our play both on and off the ball.
I’d love Axel to sign for us. A colleague of mine who is a Man Utd fan said that he would probably sign for Stoke because he isn’t guaranteed match time at United as he’s so far down the pecking order. If he took a pay cut and signed, I’d be delighted as he’s top drawer in our defence.
If we could get Smallbone (which is highly unlikely) then that’d be fantastic, leaving us to get a keeper (Iversen, I reckon) and a decent centre forward. We’d be properly ripping it up next season.
Off I go and light a million candles and start praying novenas for this to happen! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

No one has talked about Bersant Celina, he's the only loanee with a fixed price deal already agreed. I think he'll be closely watched on the International window and hopefully get some minutes.

Of all the things he's let me know about about ahead of any official announcements he's only been wrong on 2-3 occasions (and none of those involved the signing of players).

I think Pearson is a given. Sarkic hopefully, Smallbone and Sterling would be a real coup and think unlikely. Tuanzebe a non starter. And just for shits and giggles I’ve got the urge to say gouranga😉

Pearson is a shoe in hopefully what with his manager connection. I'd love to sign Axel, he totally snuffed out Pukki today and made it look terribly easy. If not then Sterling, Smallbone Hoooooover in that order.

If one of the posters is correct and we only sign Pearson & Sarkic permanently,we are going to be mighty low on numbers 😞

I’m settling for nothing less than ALL of them (not Celina obviously) plus Haaland to convert the chances they’ll create.

Tuanzebe and Pearson without question. It looks like even a half fit Tuanzebe playing 25-30 league games could make a massive difference.
I also like Sterling a lot and Celina, who I wish we'd seen more of. Smallbone seems unlikely but would probably be a better signing than Celina.

I have to say Pearson is a shoe in for this, as for the second, it’s actually really difficult!
Smallbone has massively impressed me these past few weeks. Hoever has really stepped up. Sterling a solid performer as ever. Sarkic has been good in goal but an injury setback at play.
Genuinely don’t know who my second pick would be. Gun to my head I’ll say Sterling. But lots of variation going on with choices which is always good to see.

Pearson and Tuanzebe. The spine of the side is the most important and with these two you won’t find two better players for their respective positions in this league.
Sterling is pure lass though and I’ll be gutted if we don’t sign him.

I thought yesterdays Smallpiece was akin to the one we’d seen before the last month.
Nothing he tried came off and his passing was off too. Missed a chance he probably should have scored as well.

Let's hope you're right though and I'm just being overly pessimistic.

It was his worst game for a while. I'm not his biggest fan and wouldn't be arsed if/when we don't sign him. Out of all our loans he's the one who I'd put at the bottom of our list of "must signs".
