I expect man city lawyers will earn their money and keep delaying any action until they find a loophole and escape Scott free....
Meanwhile the efl football league teams battle to survive under ridiculous FFP rules as league 1 and 2 clubs go into administration for far less..

They've added more to the story now and you're right! "The Premier League opened their investigation in March 2019 and the charge sheet makes reference to every season from September of 2009/10 to the 2017/18 season." So a decade of cheating essentially. |

I don't think too much should be made of this, just strip them of their fraudulent 2011 FA cup win as an example punishment for a first offence, and then move on. No need to go overboard.

Even getting into Europe via the back door didn't sit well with me at the time (Although I coped ). |

Make them hand back all the trophies with compo being paid to all the clubs they unfairly knocked out including travelling fans
Then make them sell their ground, disband their academy with all those players going back to the clubs that originally found them
that would be a great start, albeit zero chance of any of those happening

They broke the rules and gained an unfair advantage.
One of the players that cost them a fortune then scored the winner against us in the final.
For want of being dramatic, it'd be justice.

Premier League haven't got the bottle to do anything drastic against Citeh because it would open a huge can of worms with other clubs coming under scrutiny, and it would clearly admit what most other fans of football have been saying for years. Massive fine? pointless.! Points deduction? Yeah right :-D -20 points & relegated to Championship......dream on
