"A View of the Centre Cirtle" by Nigel NDAT* Johnson.
*No Doubt About That
I'd genuinely buy it. I'm going to miss Nige.

“Foul on Powell” is one of his favs, never uses a different way of saying it, the rhyme is too tempting.

That’s a brilliant photo. And testament to the brilliant football club we are.
The array of players there is brilliant. Recent legends alongside legends from the 70s and 80s. And Nigel commentated on all of them. Well done sir.

Does anyone know if there's anything organised by/on behalf of any fans' groups? A whip round or messages or something.. it'd be nice for him to know his service has been appreciated by the fans themselves.

I’m pretty sure the club will do something for him, with his history and affinity for such a long time with our club it wouldn’t be too far to name a stand after him, he for me is equal with the likes of Banks and Matthew’s

Does the supporters' club still even exist?

it will be really odd next season not hearing Nige. i grew up with him, as did my old man. his voice on the wireless has always been a sort of security blanket, even as i've lived in america hearing him on commentary was an extra connection to home. tha k you for your service Nigel Jonestown, you absolute legend.

I will never accept a description other than the center cirtle. As far as I'm concerned, that's what it is. Love the guy. Far as I'm concerned, he's put in enough years that he is entitled to pronounce things the way he sees it. Who the f*ck cares if he mispronounced names? I really enjoyed that - hell even this year, we'd have never had Sir William of Smallpiece if it wasn't for Nige. This guy will be missed dearly by this no good Yank. Can't imagine how much you locals who have had all the years with him will miss him!
We had a similar phenomenon here in the US with a man named Harry Carey. You just don't know what you have until it's gone. He's a treasure to be enjoyed up til the last minute. As far as I'm concerned, he gave his all to try to describe the action to listeners.
Thank you Nigel!
