I see most have Brown selected, I think Campbell has earned a crack at it, Gayle Campbell Delap for me up top. Stoke fans hates modern style type of players like Campbell. Stoke fans prefer old style of players like Brown. Stoke fans doesn't like developing a young player like Campbell and increase his value. Stoke fans prefer proven players who values are decreasing - basically aging players. Bullshit some may say but that's just them in denial. To use Brown in your second comparison his value has most definitely increased and he's still only 24..........

Don't think he will change much initially, he will be relying on the coaching staff left by MON initially. I imagine he will possibly take training either today, or certainly tomorrow and then decide a team after watching the sessions?.

Of course Brown is a world beater. Greatest footballer of all time Better han Pele. Yup I’ve only ever really seen goodwill on here towards Campbell. The only criticism has sometimes been a lack of fitness and work rate. Brown was routinely slaughtered on here during his first season.

I imagine he might go with Holdens 433 with a tweak in personnel if he feels necessary.

He’s inherited probably the best pool of forwards in the division. I don’t really care what system he plays, but he’s got to find a way to utilise and get the best out of Gayle, Campbell, Delap, Brown and Powell.

With Neil in charge I’m optimistic. With MON I’d have feared a last minute ear cup from little Joey has he celebrated his last minute winner in front of the Boothen. Would think Joe will have a bit more respect than to do that mate. Plus he has to actually score so I think we are ok 👍 He has been known to ear cup or shush the fans before and score goals, hopefully not tomorrow.

I do hope that Powell enters the plans of Alex Niell when he is back fit. We have a great forward line, but we need a link between midfield and attack to get the most out of them. Will be interesting to see if Smallbone gets game time as he plays the same position. Powell is also great at defending high up the pitch and closing down players. He is still our most important player for me with what he offers. We need Gayle and Delap to get going and bag their first goal soon

Allen will get a polite clap from me and then I'll move on to the game.
I don't care how much someone got paid, or even how good/bad they were, if they gave their all for our great club they're worthy of acknowledgment as far as I'm concerned and I think Joe falls into that category...........

They can’t all start, but they can all very much make a contribution.

The likes of Thomas Frank at Brentford think nothing of making a triple change after 55 minutes to bring on pace to affect the game as it get stretched, that's how I see Campbell/DWP's roles certainly in the short term but in the modern game it's equally as important........

Unless anyone is back from injury, I wouldn’t change the team.
It looked as close to balanced as we’ve had in a long time.
I’d put Smallbone in there for Clucas on another day, but not against Swansea.
High press and no silly mistakes Stoke, we’ve got this.

You don't think so obviously, fair enough. watching the ball bounce off Jacob Brown compared to the guile and quality, not to mention pace whilst keeping the ball under control, of Tyrese is chalk and cheese. These past few sub appearances have proved he is making an effort. Deserves a start, and we will all benefit. It’s a tricky one. Brown works harder but Campbell’s got more ability but doesn’t do the tracking back and pressing. Tough call. Swansea are as bad as we are under the high press. Campbell would do it once and need to sit down. Campbell should come on at the 60 mark and in cup games/rotation until he can finally prove that he’s good enough to be a first teamer. Running past a defender and then over hitting a cross isn’t the biggest call to ignore.

I would expect some sort of warm welcome for the return of The Welsh Pirlo. Why, he did next to nothing for the club while rinsing it of 30/40/50k a week or whatever it was, he's up there as one of our worst signings in recent times. Christ almighty. He didn't produce his best stuff for us but one thing you can't accuse him of is lack of effort. He worked hard in sometimes trying circumstances. Rinsed the club.... bullshit.

Swansea fans are seriously pissed off at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised to see them bring 100/150 fans max. Why we always end up meeting midweek is beyond me, seems to happen at one of our grounds pretty much every season......
