Bonham Wilmot Taylor Flint Fox 🦊 Baker Thompson Clucas Brown Delap Gayle It would be hard to argue with an unchanged side but we don't know what shape Neil will go with. I'm looking forward to the game just for the fact that I want to see how we approach the game. I'm expecting pretty much chalk and cheese.

I’m really expecting a bumper win next Wednesday, preferably without Clucas in the side.

Thompson for Kilkenny & Gayle for Brown for me Sorted that for ya. It didn’t need sorting.

I see most have Brown selected, I think Campbell has earned a crack at it, Gayle Campbell Delap for me up top.

We have to give Joe Allen a guard of honour. We'd be top of league if he was still here and MON wouldn't of been sacked :( :( :( :(

Makele was around the same height as Kilkenny, as is Idrissa Gueye, to name another You can name as many as you want I don't like small central midfielders. Xavi?

I would expect some sort of warm welcome for the return of The Welsh Pirlo.

Well I've not measured him (Kilkenny) but he looks tiny to me when you see him with DWP they're about the same size. I'm not saying that makes him crap it's just not my cup of tea. You simply must measure these people before accusing them of being “vertically challenged”😉 Oh and I think DWP is 5ft 6 and a gnats cock so not much difference between all 3 That breaks the stereotype

Is that Jordan Thompson? The 5ft 7”, 10 stone heavyweight midfielder. I happen to think that's tall and heavy

Makele was around the same height as Kilkenny, as is Idrissa Gueye, to name another But they had physical presence. Kilkenny has little and therefore is not what we require. The point was that physical size is not an impediment to being a quality defensive midfielder, don’t see how you can judge Kilkenny yet given that he’s hardly played

By being a threat each time he's come on Ohhhh You don't think so obviously, fair enough. watching the ball bounce off Jacob Brown compared to the guile and quality, not to mention pace whilst keeping the ball under control, of Tyrese is chalk and cheese. These past few sub appearances have proved he is making an effort. Deserves a start, and we will all benefit.

I’d like to see Wright Phillips start on Wednesday. He tore Hull apart away last season and if we give him the ball early he could do the same against Swansea. I fancy a win with Delap & Gayle getting off the mark .

I'd pick the same starting line up that pressed so well early on in Blackburn game, and there's no wiggle room in the matchday squad either really, with 5 mainstays out injured. I think Neil will focus on assessing squad and completing any last minute deals he can do before the deadline (a goalie being the obvious one, plus Etebo and Duhaney out if any takers). There'll probably be changes for the Reading game with Smallbone and Campbell pressing for a start but it makes sense to let the defence gel as much as we can in next few games.

I want to go and see our first game under Alex Neil but I don't think I can be arsed to watch Joe Allen on a football pitch agin.

I would expect some sort of warm welcome for the return of The Welsh Pirlo. Why, he did next to nothing for the club while rinsing it of 30/40/50k a week or whatever it was, he's up there as one of our worst signings in recent times.

With Neil in charge I’m optimistic. With MON I’d have feared a last minute ear cup from little Joey has he celebrated his last minute winner in front of the Boothen.

These past few sub appearances have proved he is making an effort. Deserves a start, and we will all benefit. It’s a tricky one. Brown works harder but Campbell’s got more ability but doesn’t do the tracking back and pressing. Tough call.

I see most have Brown selected, I think Campbell has earned a crack at it, Gayle Campbell Delap for me up top. Stoke fans hates modern style type of players like Campbell. Stoke fans prefer old style of players like Brown. Stoke fans doesn't like developing a young player like Campbell and increase his value. Stoke fans prefer proven players who values are decreasing - basically aging players. Bullshit some may say but that's just them in denial.
