Has his fist-pumping in front of the away fans at the end of the game been mentioned? Massive smile on his face, looked absolutely buzzing to have won the game. He “went with his gut” to come here when there were plenty other options, including ones that were probably preferable to his parent club. We have in him a precocious young player who is genuinely 100% made up to be playing for Stoke... almost certainly dreamed of it as a kid, as evidenced by requesting Ryan’s shirt number. Which is fukin ace. Got the potential to be a full-on terrace hero if things go well this season. Re:Delap it’s at the end of this video http://instagram.com/p/Ch0LNrJo6YQ

And for a 19 year old he's built like a brick shithouse. Looking forward to plenty of goals from the lad.

While Rory was pinging the long throws in and causing chaos and we were upsetting the apple cart and ruffling feathers under Pulis, little Liam was a kid idolising his dad and going to the games to watch him play. He was 9 in 2012 which sounds crazy. He would have been in the ground for some of those magic moments in the late 2000s and early 2010s and it looks like it's left a lasting impression on him and he genuinely wants to do well for the club and maybe make the same impact as his dad did. Requesting Ryan Shawcross' shirt number is fantastic. I wonder how many of those other kids that we used to see at the end of the season at the lap of honour are now playing football?

Pretty sure Mama Sidibe’s kid is in the academy, along with a 3rd-generation Macari of course. Then there’s Cresswell’s lad that did us over for Millwall. Think there are others too.

He's promising but still a bit raw. Not a rainmaker yet but should get better as he gets more minutes under his belt.

Apparently fuming when ONeil got sacked after many conversations with him. Threw his toys out the pram and wanted go back! Didn’t look the case tonight but that’s what I’ve heard

Christopher Lillicrap would be proud of that. Whatever you say mate but that’s what I was told, I was told he’d signed a week before it was announced and that was rubbished too. 🙃

Thought he looked a little lost today. Struggled to hold the ball up and bring others into play, tried to be physical but gave quite a few fouls away etc. Hoping he's just playing his way into the pace of competitive football after never really playing it before and there's a lot more to come.

I think he was one the players Neil was talking about in his post match Radio Stoke interview that lack match fitness

Hopefully he finds a bit more time on the ball. The moment it finally happened in the second half, that he had the ball at his feet facing their goal, he moved brilliantly.

I think he was one the players Neil was talking about in his post match Radio Stoke interview that lack match fitness I'm 100% certain he was. 'Dead on their feet' was the phrase Alex Neil used. Dead in the water is what we will be if we can't win matches like this !

Didn’t look the case tonight but that’s what I’ve heard Maybe he decided to stay after he realised he's going to see a lot more of the ball with this manager, and will have a better chance of scoring some goals. He should have done better with his chance tonight.

You can tell he's trained with much better players, his first touch isn't just to control/stop that ball, seems to know what he wants to do with it before he receives it etc.

I thought he did pretty well, he could learn a lot from Gayle about winning free kicks though, they were pretty rough on Delap all game and he got nothing from the ref whatsoever apart from one moment towards the end of the first half when a foul was finally given and the crowd let the ref know their thoughts. He linked up well with Tyrese for the short spell they were on the pitch together. I think Delap is going to be a quality player for us, he has joined at a tough time but things will soon be on the up again for us, the feel good factor is back. He is going to be a nightmare for defences in this league when he adapts, and I don’t think we will have to wait long.

I like him though at the moment he’s feeding on scraps.
Until we get some creativity in midfield and take control in games the 3 frontmen will struggle to get goals.

He’s looked absolutely knackered after about half an hour in every match so far.
Understandable considering he hasn’t really had a pre-season and won’t have played in many games with this intensity.

Thought he worked hard, held up well and was targeted by man handling throughout.
Think others need to be closer to him/ play off him BUT he’s far better than simply a target man. Was unlucky not to score with his bloked effort.
Was all action and made it hard work for their defenders.
Nice little powerful run with ball 2nd half.
The kids started 3 championship games. He’ll Come good I’m sure. He just needs that goal, as does Gayle.

Poor touch and no pace Just young aggression that will fade when he’s running around like a headless chicken Not a finisher and see a recall in a couple of months when not in/ scoring etc. Just a pity there’s not a few more who could be recalled

Thought it was an excellent block off him from Campbell's pull back.
He's getting in the right positions.
He will score 15+ this season. I'm certain of it
