Is Rory safe in his job?
Because if he’s isn’t. And gets the boot.
That could be awkward.

He’s a bully who lets defenders know he’s there In short he was excellent today The word 'bully' makes me think that he's just the sort of player that Neil would like to have leading the line.

Lad deserves a chant.
Becoming a legend and quick. Was blowing out of his arse the last 20 mins but still kept on running into the ground.
Can see he's stoke through and through watching us as a nipper. Is brilliant to see. If only if was here for longer than a year, hes definitely going to be a regular in the prem soon whether it's for citeh or someone else

He reminds me of Alan Shearer - strong as an ox, aggressive, quick, and direct. Looks like he’s going to do some damage once a few things start dropping for him.

Just like a young mama sidibe you mean😅 Joking aside he is like a young shearer. Everything you need out of a striker. Goals will soon come along with gayle

Reminds me of Shearer, Costa and Mitrovic rolled all in one. Love his style. Exactly what is needed here as another up top option.

He has all the attributes you want in a player, he must be a nightmare to play against. I love his enthusiasm you can see he wants to win, real quality and fight. Can’t believe he’s so young …

I love the fact he was taking on 2 CBS and a CM yesterday and battling all of them, getting promoted soon is imperative. Then all out to sign him.

I also think we should start him with Campbell
I thought yesterday was the first time I've seen Campbell like his old self, confident in his pace, in his strength.
Give him some starts now

I think he looks ace it's a longtime since I've seen one of our forwards with defenders bouncing off them.

He’s a championship defenders nightmare. Strong and very quick. He’d score a hat full in any creative side, it’s our job to make sure hr gets chance now

Hes strong as fuck and certainly faster than I thought he'd be, once that first goal goes in can see him getting twenty this season which could be the difference if gayle,Campbell, brown all chip in which I'm sure they will. Come on Liam lad!

Pretty sure he made the wrong choice once or twice with picking a pass but I've seen promising 23 year old strikers do similar.
That's nitpicking. He looks like just the player we've been crying out for and once he's up to speed he'll be a beast.

Looked really good today I thought. Big, strong, quick and fiery. Hopefully will score soon and when he does I think he’ll score a load more. Gives us another dimension.

I'm loving how impressed everyone is what they've seen so far.
It's a lot to ask though, for a kid to score 15 to 20 goals, isn't it?
For comparison, a young Harry Kane had 4 separate loan spells to lower league clubs, and scored 14 goals in total.

For comparison, a young Harry Kane had 4 separate loan spells to lower league clubs, and scored 14 goals in total. Harry Kane is unrecognisable now from when he was a youngster. Could always finish but was too one paced , lacked acceleration and had to spend thousands of hours on basics like getting his weight down and percentage body fat down. He is naturally chubby and one paced , though nobody would know that now .

He's not going to score 15 to 20 goals, few do and if he gets double figures be a decent return for a young lad .

He's not going to score 15 to 20 goals, few do and if he gets double figures be a decent return for a young lad . You could be right. As you say double figures will be a decent return - especially because, as many have commented on this thread, he is a natural bully on the pitch, very mobile and tends to attract close attention from 2 or even 3 defenders, which is bound to create space and chances for his striker colleagues.

If we can weigh in 4 or 5 players with double figures would be ok. Baker, Brown, Powell ,Delap all very capable .

At 19 he's an exciting prospect but we/football won't see the best of him for two or three years. 10 goals from him this season will do nicely. He'll create maybe more than that for us. A great loan signing and one we fans will probably enjoy while he's here.
OS.

Has his fist-pumping in front of the away fans at the end of the game been mentioned? Massive smile on his face, looked absolutely buzzing to have won the game. He “went with his gut” to come here when there were plenty other options, including ones that were probably preferable to his parent club. We have in him a precocious young player who is genuinely 100% made up to be playing for Stoke... almost certainly dreamed of it as a kid, as evidenced by requesting Ryan’s shirt number. Which is fukin ace. Got the potential to be a full-on terrace hero if things go well this season.

Especially if he creates a connection with the fans which it certainly sounds like he is.
