With all other managers the board would have waited until April before sacking him. A good sign of more positivity from them.

Dyche, Joey Barton and Slaven Bilic for me are the best on that list.

I dread to think. This current board don’t have a good track record so they?
Is Dean Holden the new Chic Bates?

Haha so we have gone from Stoke-a-lona to Stoke-a-tina ( as in Argentina). Not sure we can match his wages from PSG, or Spurs even, without affecting the fair play rules. He is jobless and like i said it would be almost impossible, but why not try? If we get promoted he’s the type of manager we should be going for. I really cant tell if you're on a wind up or genuinely believe its worth wasting the cost of an international call?

Can't see Bet 365 appointing a manager sponsored by 32Red

So its got to be someone out of work & if the usual rule applies not foreign Excitement & dread now for the rest of August! Or an assistant manager looking for a manager's job.

Dyche or Critchley for me as I can’t make up my mind if I’d prefer a good fit DNA-wise or whether to have a bash at a modern coach type.

Why would Robins leave Coventry for Stoke?
A manager who did well at Rotherham and Coventry but struggled at Huddersfield, Barnsley and Scunthorpe

Mowbray. Underwhelming but a safe pair of hands. Joey Barton No! Hopefully the Coates family have more integrity than that.

What happened to that ex Watford manager who was unceremoniously axed early on last season after getting them promoted?
He struck me as a decent manager.

Dyche is 3-1 with Bet365.
Some interesting names. Aisworth, Duncan Ferguson .
Obviously we haven't spoken to managers at other clubs and doubt the Dyche story but just think not what we need . Dull football and meet the new boss....same as the old boss for me.
I know he form in this division but was dire last season.

Carrick is an interesting one especially since Lampard, Gerrard and Rooney have done pretty well.

Is Shawcross still hanging around looking for an assistant's job?If he has I have this dreadful sinking feeling about a certain x-manager who would work above Shawcross.

True though, didn't say wanted him , he's just one of the faves. Really can't see it anyway . I'd rather have Emu than Dyche. As long as he isn't in charge of getting a signal on the concourse TVs
